Yeah, I said Randle El.

That's not a typo.

Terrible signing. Tomlin has no fucking clue about what he's doing.

Seriously, what is Randle El going to do to help this team? He's god awful at PR, Airheard Arians doesn't run any gadget plays, so that's a lost cause, and we already have a slow and old slot receiver in Hines. This is worthless imo.

I would've been happy if we got Foote back instead. Not this scrub.

I think this means no more Sweed.

I LOVE both signings. Randle El is still good. Last year the Redskins went with a youth movement to get Malcolm Kelly and Devin Thomas on the field. With Randle El's and Mike Wallace's speed our passing game is going to be absolutely deadly. I mean we're now to the point where no defense can even match up with us. What team has the personnel that can cover those 4 receivers and/or Heath Miller? NO ONE. You watch.

we can be lethal if Big Ben does not go to the "Bootyhouse" if he is charged and convicted.

I thought it was a good signing too. Randle El can assist in the return game and throw a touchdown pass (SB XL) here and there. As another guy said, it's an upgrade over Sweed, assuming he's actually gone. Who knows. The guy might actually come back and end up straightening things out.

Randle El hasn't returned a punt for a td since 2006, avg. 6 yrd per return over the last couple of years and a lame 10 yds per reception. Not much of an upgrade. I thought Shaun McDonald was a better pick up last year than either Randle El or Battle this year. I imagine that the steelers will cut either Randle El or Battle in training camp. I would rather see the steelers give Stefan Logan ample practice/preseason time to get in tune with the return game. Particularly after last year's dissapointing turnout.

I'm happy they're giving El an opportunity. He's a high character guy - we could use one of those!!

Not happy Clark came back but at least at reasonable price. At least they can focus on CB, OL, or ILB as top pick in draft, now.

Still would luv to see which of the stud rookie safeties that will be avail at 18.

Maybe Colt McCoy will be there???

Arnez Battle and Randal El are both solid WRs. This means that we waste ZERO draft picks on a position that is terribly thin in this draft class. This also gives us 5 reliable WRs who can catch the effen ball. Randal El is still a very gifted athlete and I think the Redskins just used him wrong. That's no guarantee that the Blood Clot Arians will have any clue what to do with his skills either, but we can always hope.

They also signed Jonathan Scott, OT from Buffalo. Since they let Stapleton go, this could mean that the Colon moves back to Guard, where I think he is more suited.

To be honest with you, I'm still not sure how I feel about any of these signings.

However I will say that we should keep an open mind about Randle El. Maybe his numbers don't exactly jump off the page, but it's not like he's been playing with Drew Brees the last 4 years.

It'd also be cool to see some of those famous Randle El gadget plays again.

randle el was signed because he actually has a brain. the steelers need to get quality players that are not only talented on the field but off as well. el is an intelligent player and person. this signing brought back many great steeler memories as well as made my day. smart move rooneys.
