espn.com reporting the steelers are close to signing ex bucs safety will allen...

Did anyone see Will Allen play for the Bucs last year? Is he any good? Better than Clark? Or is this going to be another Sean Mahan (washed up player from the Bucs that Tomlin wants on our team for some unknown reason) debacle?

He's was under Tomlin in Tampa. He's for depth and special teams only.

I see that Allen has not had an interception in 4 yrs. He will fit in nicely with this D-backfield.

Looks like another glue-fingered DB in the mix for the Stillers.

His name should be "Won't" Allen, as in he "won't' hold onto the ball.
