Anyone with half a football brain could see the 'Chess match' that went on last night between all the brialliant minds on both sides of the field. If was an amazing display of coaching skill and prowess. Too bad there could only be one winner cause Both teams deserved it. That being said, what would have been the outcome if Indy had faltered during the playoffs and we, somehow, sneaked in the back door.

What would the Saints and their outstanding coaching staff have done to Little Dickie Altzheimers and his fat pal Airhead??

Give us a run down on what the Saints would have done to us. How bad would it have been?...

Unfortunately, this is the brand of football that the NFL wants. Look at all the rule changes in recent years to benefit the passing game. Think about the OUTRIGHT REFUSAL of NFL Referees to call holding on a Passing play. Look at SB XLIV... over 70 passing plays for both teams and 0 holding penalties, REALLY?!?!?!? The football purists who enjoy a nail biting 13-10 defensive struggle are not the NFL's target audience. They are going after the average fan who would rather see a basketball score each week.

So you're telling me that the NFL is set up for the passing game? Then I see why it makes so much sense for us to go back to being a run first offense. We'll show them. We will grind the ball so we can fool everyone. I'm all for being more balanced, but the line has to be able to drive block when they know you're trying to run the ball first. I'm not sure our line can drive block an empty sled.
