Steelers Season opener opponent

Postby westeelbelieve » Mon Feb 08, 2010 6:36 pm

Now, the Saints won the Super Bowl, is there a good chance the NFL will put us in the opening game vs the Saints and bill the game as "Super Bowl 44 1/2" the match-up of the last two Super Bowl champions?

I hope not. I am trying to go to that game in New Orleans. That ticketis already going to be ridiculous. If it is the opener, it will drive prices through the roof and I am not trying to pay a lot for that muffler!!! :D :D

I think it depends on who the Saints play.

There Home Schedule: Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers

Now WE no the Browns, Seahawks, Rams, Bucs and Panthers won't be there.

I think a lot depends on if Farve comes back and if not who the QB in Minny is.

I could see it being Pittsburgh, Atlanta, or Minnesota

Ben Calls his own plays. Get Kyle Wilson from Boise. I see us doing a indy in the '05 run and taking out the champs. We basically have four recievers that can torch any defense. The problem is proper utilization,

What four? Hines and if you count Miller are not torching anyone. Moving the chains yes.

Holmes and Wallace can run past anyone.

Please don't mention Sweed or Mendenhall as torching receivers. Only other WR's are Grisham and McDonald. Galloway i can't see being brought back nor being as fast anymore

Oh you must have been lumping Matt Spaeth into receivers who torch defenses! :) :subngtowl:
