REX is headed for the ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET

Postby NJSteel27 » Sun Jan 24, 2010 7:42 pm

Now that the pretenders are gone.............what's Rex up to now?

He couldn't have had a more rushed post-game news conference.
Obviously, he didn't want to be late for the ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-BUFFET!!!

You know, the NY metro area media is hillarious.

Up until the game, they were touting the power of the Jets, citing 05 Stillers and the 06 Giants as examples of WC teams that won.

Interviewing Jet fans in Indy, who themselves were "guaranteeing victory".

Now that they have lost, they are all "sad" (LMAO) but "ok", and all they do is give fellatio to Peyton Manning.

"Oh, but we had to play against the Peyton the Great Dickhead, and there simply is no way to win against him".

Also funny are the interviews with the fans, shown after the game. The parts of the interviews that are before half-time are all like, "Yea, we can do it. We knew we would win. We guarantee we will win".

After the game, not so much.

All of that talk makes me feel very proud as a Stiller fan (like I need any other team's experience to validate my fanhood). However, the '05 Stillers were truly special. Not only did they earn their 6th seed through their own prowess (and a little outside help), but they took #1 AFC seed Indy (and their King Peyton), and #2 seed Denver, and #3 Seed Cincy, and #3 NFC Seed Chicago, and #1 Seed Seahawks.

Ah, feels good to be a Stillers fan.

Now, on to Feb 7th. If indy wins, then the decade of 2000 would essentially be dominated by 3 teams: Stillers, Pats, and Indy. If you think about it, each of these teams has been in the top of their division pretty much the entire decade, with a few slips. And together they would have won 7 out of 10 superbowls. I would say that EAST is the weekest division, perhaps helping Pats get a into playoffs a bit more easily, and as far as regular seasons go, Indy has probably been the best team. Despite that, Indy has capitalized on their success at a far lower rate, getting kicking out of playfs early a lot.

Yes, you hit the nail right on the head.
All the bloated and pompous NY/NJ Jet fags were causing quite a stir here in northern NJ, each day something new would surface about how the Jests were the team of destiny and somehow they were able to "spin" their spot in the conference championship based on their Number 1 defense and #1 rushing attack. of course, absent were the facts that the Colts played a vanilla game against them the first time and had they not, not one person would be talking all this crap about how great they are. they would have been 8-8 (if not 7-9) and allowed to waste away int he land of the forgotten.

Now, its Monday morning and all those same fans, probably so drunk they don't even know what happened yesterday, are singing a different tune.

Finally, the curse of the FatMan is over.
Let's let him get back to the trough and gorge himself like all the other pigs.
