And let me now present the Republican solution to everything: tax cuts for the rich, tax cuts for the rich, tax cuts for the rich.

Good economy? Let's ruin it with tax cuts for the rich.

Bad economy? Tax cuts for the rich.

High unemployment? Tax cuts for the rich.

45,000 people dying for lack of health insurance every year? Tax cuts for the rich!

The heartbreak of psoriasis? Tax cuts for the rich!

Oh, please. Every time the Republicans are in power they bring out the same failed laissez-faire, supply side, trickle down, voodoo economics nonsense and ruin the economy again. Yes, Republicans, keep catering to the rich and ruining the economy. Does that make you feel better?

What’s wrong with the post office? Every time I mail a letter I have 100% confidence it will reach its destination. I’ll bet you use the post office. If it’s such a failure, you should stop using it and strictly use FedEx and UPS.

Now, now. Go easy on Poltargyst. He's very upset that the voters of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts have voted in Scott Brown.

That picture is hilarious.

I'm more of an independent myself these days.

But even Democrats gotta admit that losing that election was a MAJOR blow to their agenda. And I don't see how they can see it as anything but a complete and total rebuke of their healthcare plan.

Maybe he didn't mean those.....maybe he meant the League of Nations, the United Nations, Medicare, Medicade, Social Security, Civil Rights, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, EPA, G.I. Bill, Women's Right to Vote, and Balanced Budgets.

I know he didn't mean the 1929 Wall Street Crash, Reaganomics, Deregulations (you must have loved paying $4.50 a gallon for gas last year), George Bush, or Iraq.

I know, I know, you are worried about Democrats taking your guns away.

Sweed reminds me a lot of Kordell's old pal at Colorado and then here with the Skins - Michael Westbrook.

He was a top pick for them with high expectations, but never amounted to much. Was always a headcase, got traded and still didn't make it.

To get back on topic...

A little more on WR Westbrook (per wikipedia): after his career ended in 2002 (with the Bungles, btw), he furthered his practice of jiu-jitsu and apparently has become pretty sucessful.

But get this... Westbrook said of jiu-jitsu, "This is a lot easier and a lot more fun. I don't have to worry about coaches and it's not nearly as dangerous. I don't have to worry about pleasing the public and the announcers. Or getting eggs thrown at my door because I dropped a ball. I don't have to worry about any of that." This is hilarious!

Let's hope we never hear anything like this from the bed-wetter...

Being a ten year vet, I'm about as hardcore a conservative as there is living in republican hell (So Cal), but I don't get why some of you people have to always drag fucking politics into a Stiller board. Who gives a rat's ass how you vote. Take your political agenda somewhere else! If I want to hear politics I'll turn on the fucking news. We're all Steeler fans here and this is the last place on earth I want to hear about your political views, regardless of how you vote!

Steelhope, I think you and I would get along well no matter what our political views may be. Personally, I can't stand all politicians and it makes me sick to see what has become of our government. I've seriously considered saying fuck it all & move to New Zealand or Australia. Believe me when I say that those folks over there know how to live life to the fullest and they don't get caught up in all the superficial bullshit that life and politics throw our way in this country.

Can you get Sunday Ticket in New Zealand? Sounds like a good idea if you can. That question started as a joke but now I am really curious if you can. I know you can't get Sirius satellite overseas. I think the satellites are only pointed at North America.

Actually, Sweed is starting to remind me more of Fred Gibson. Do you remember this guy? 4th round pick for Georgia a few years ago.

Nah, none of that stuff either. I guess it was the Community Reinvestment Act by Jimmah Cartah, his "hostage rescue attempt", his removing the Shah. Yeah, these things worked out, oh so well!

Under Bush the price of gas went up for a while. Under Carter it was rationed. If you want to promote a Democrat agenda over Republican, gas pricing and availability is a laughable example. As for the League of Nations, that failed in very short order and the American public was against it. The U.N. is a poster child of corruption and bloat, Social Security is almost broke, etc. You may want to review and try again.

As everyone (with the exception of idiots) reading this thread can discern. This is a living document that chronicles the thread libertards who obviously all hail from Moscow west of the Rockies or who fancy themselves ivy league indoctrinators- who are enraged that I have brought Danny Boy Rooney - the Obama ass smoocher - to task for his humiliating Obama ass licking on the Super Bowl podium. They may claim they are conservatives from SoCal or they may mock established constitutional premises such as no taxation without representation but they can not hide their shrill displeasure via tactics such as race baiting and assaholic metaphors involving fake moon landings - as the growing tide of Anti Obamanomics and Anti Obama social engineering now finds its way onto the board, despite their feeble attempts at censure on a freedom of speech, yea verily, a DONT TREAD ON ME AND MY STEELERS board. We now see that the tea party movement has grown into a full fledged revolution against the soft tyranny of the Obama polit bureau. And that in Massachusetts, the home of the Boston Tea Party a conservative was elected and a democratic oaf was chucked into said harbor. Meanwhile Danny Boy who finally made an appearance in Miami - where he could go to a post party with JLo and Mark Anthony - fiddled while the Steelers life burned out for the 2009 season

Since that grotesque display of affection there has been a super bowl hangover of epic proportion as well as a titanic shift in the American psyche towards the liar Obanga. The Steelers have lost their hunger (except for cheeseburgers) and desire and Momlin has possibly lost the ear of most players as they dream of hot tubs and golf courses instead of studying film and practicing technique

The ensuing Laissez Faire attitude is best exemplified by the palatial living arrangement being enjoyed by Danny Boy Rooney - whose absence - by the way - is NOT the cause of our decline - but rather just another example of "to the victor goes the spoils" type of behavior that is endemic at the Steelers organiztion in 2009 and may I add, the inhabitants of the welfare state in the USA. Add to that the fact that Danny Boy via his Obama fanny slurp - has joined the most anti American terrorist friendly team that has ever infested the halls of our nation's capitol. Under Dannys Bosses team civil liberties and affirmative action via such tactics as fascist controlled healthcare and card check to insure the unionization (read indoctrination) trump the safety of decent Americans and terrorists are lovingly fondled in their stead.

So while we endure the obangaesque menstruations of the board libertards, remembering how they used to kiss the teachers ass in high school and now apparently middle school as well, and their haughty pompous use of high brow terminology, and their fruitcake use of sylogisms their condescending brandishment of Euclides and their laughable references to Socrates, and their miserable Harry Reid like efforts at censure, and their paper fascism, and their anal nun like ruler wielding spellchecking, and their weasel like revisionist take on history - we watch with the hope that a new attitude prevails. A hard hat mentality. A take no prisoners mentality. Something like the miracle 4th quarter comeback against the Packers. Instead of the gruesome tedious liberal homosexual pissant philosophy that threatens to emasculate our cherished Steelers

"The damning evidence is clear: Democrats are violent, corrupt, arrogant and self-righteous. A Democrat believes that his cradle-to-grave ideology makes him special. Whatever a Democrat does is justified in his mind as what is best for the masses, regardless of whether the proles know what is good for them.

The Democrats will continue to lie, to cheat, to steal and to trample the Constitution of the United States. They will be removed from power only through the most vicious of battles, and they will have to be dragged, kicking and clawing and screaming, from the table of government. The technology of their tyranny is all around us. The infrastructure of their arrogant imperialism is inescapable. Only when we are willing to acknowledge the fact of their thuggery will we have even the slightest hope of combating it. Only when we admit publicly that Democrats individually are villains will we have any chance of overcoming them."

How does a simple question about the real story behind Sweed's abrupt injury list placement turn into political diatribes and rants ?

Moderator: Please prevent political jihadists of any ilk from hijacking this board!

Back to topic: Is there any REAL news on this guy lately?
