A Topic Conspicuous in its Absence..............
This season, I don't recall a comment or thread bashing the playing surface at Heinz Field....... Has this become a problem solved? Or was it the Steelers' woes that overshadowed it?
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

I like the fact the field is often in bad condition. If you combine that with bad weather it can get in the heads of opponents.

it was exceptionally terrible in the past few years because we were always following busy weekends on the field (Pitt and high school state playoffs) and with bad weather.
the weather never got too bad this year, and the lower levels didn't tear it up so much.

They also quietly replaced it after last year.

After last year they covered the "GrassMaster" surface with normal sod. That way when the multitude of high school and college games were taking their toll they could replace the turf in specific spots with new sod. That could not be done with the GrassMaster surface.
