I'd like to think I had the correct read on the NFC East division championship game last week. The KC pick was based more upon Denver's history during the final week of the season in a must win game, and that they were sitting their superstar WR vs a sub-par pass defense. Sometimes people get lucky despite not having recent/direct/immediate experience to both teams.

Cowboys -3.5 over Philadelphia- Dallas was a party to one of the most comical down falls that I have witnessed in pro sports last season. (That and their last play off appearance  ) They were cremated by the Eagles 44-6 in a win and your in scenario. The Dallas franchise got serious after that embarrassment. The high profile organization didn't let out a peep until draft day if I remember correctly. I have to give credit to how this team has managed to stay low-profile, while at the same time being the best product they have put together since Neil O'Donnell took a bribe for SBXXX ...er uh Pittburgh got beaten that day. This Cowboys team is legit. I'm seeing a lot of people backing the idea that Philadelphia will win because the third time is the charm...Dallas is the better team. If this game were played 10 times in Texas, the Cowboys would win 8. I give the Eagles a chance, but they will have to be flawless. Mike Vick is going to have to step up and contribute something for Philli to have a chance IMO. The Eagles lost their starting middle linebacker at the beginning of the season, and will feel the effects in this game as much as any this season. The Cowboys have the better overall roster, and would be wise to play a war of attrition if it comes down to that.

NE -3.5 over the Rats- Losing Welker last week should not effect the Patriots ability to pull out a win here. Tom Brady @ the Razor will be enough to move the ball in the air against a depleted Baltimore secondary. I'm excited to see what the master-mind Belichick will concoct to stop Ray Rice. I like the chances that Mayo and Co. can contain him enough that Flacco once again becomes Floppo. Neither one of these teams looks great moving forward on paper vs next weeks opponents, but anything can happen vs Norv the Nipple and Peyton the Samurai Sword juggler... 8-)

***Leans***

Bengals -3 over NYJ- Gear up for Barf Bowl 2010! This is the kind of contest you make a run to the liquor store before it starts. You then take straight shots of everclear, intermittently watching the game between trips to the commode. BLuuuuhhhhhh!!!! According to a buddy I watched the BCS Title game with, Cincinnati will win this week because Panocha Plinko says he got layed. Should probably see that little bastard coming down the pike just in time for next seasons kick off..One must ask himself, does anyone really win this game? Both of these teams appear to be screwed if they don't score first. With Carson Chicken Bone Chewing Palmer and Mark Scrot-cheese handling comeback duties, lets hope the league has assigned an extra 10-15 paramedics to both teams sidelines in the event of severe windpipe malfunctioning(s!)...Houston fans will watch this game, and know exactly why the Colts chose to fold tent vs. the Jets in week 15 :supissed: . This game could very well be decided by which teams defense makes the biggest play, or whose defense/ST gets the most scores. Bluuuhhhh!!! ooouuuhhhhhhhh, huhhhhuuhh, BLUUUUhhhhhh!!!!

GB -1 over Ariz- I'll go with GB on the idea that they have momentum from last week. Kurt Warner makes this Cardinals team completely different than the joke that was Arizona in week 17. Charles Woodson deserves to be the defensive MVP of the NFL this season. Individual regular season awards don't mean much during the play offs, and he is going to need to play like an All-Pro today against a Larry Fitzgerald who terrorized NFC opponents and the Stillers in the tournament just one season ago. Which ever team can get its running game going to help out their stud QB will have a definitive advantage. I think the Packers can hold on here to set up a trip to New Orleans.
