I have to add:

Whomever allowed William Gay to play should go....
if its Uncle Dickie, so be it.
If its Lily Tomlin, here's the door........

I'm hoping they fire:
Arians
Ligashitsky
Zeirlein
and the DBs coach.

Those are the 4 coaches that NEED to be fired. We didn't play consistent on O. Our line isn't built to zone block. The Special Teams were awful. And Our Corners were routinely torched.
Bruce Arians: Proudly carried the Honor of Short Bus All-Star 2007-2011. Good job, and glad you're gone Dumbfuck!!!!!

It's a guarantee that Lebeau won't be fired. I don't see how you can fire Arians as the offense was definitely not the problem this year. Special teams coach - See ya.

i do blame the OC for a lot of the defense's troubles in the 4th qtr this year. Today was a perfect example. we lead by 17. phins score to cut the lead to 10 with about 11 minutes remaining. what do we do? pass pass pass pass pass pass= 1,2,3 punt. the phins have the ball back before the 10:00 minute mark!

defense back on the field with no rest. seriously, what the hell is wrong with this dude? it isnt like our RBs weren't having success today. what the hell ever happened to "shortening the game" and shit like that? these are not just cowher football adages, they are time-tested, nearly universal football beliefs. when you are up by double digits in the 4th qtr, you try to kill 4 or 5 minutes each time you have the ball, even if you dont score.

I agree 100%
ARIAN-NATION MUST GO!
Example:
Miami game yesterday. Start of 2nd half.....we get great field position for our first possession in the second half. We're at the Miami 48, I believe. He calls 2 consecutive half-assed running plays that gained very little, now forcing a crucial 3rd and long.......

How about going for the killshot?
Thats whats wrong with this team.
Lack of a big set of BALLS!

Spec teams coach shouldn't just be fired, he should be put in a min security prison w/Plex!! Ben luvs Arians too much & what the franchise wants, the franchise gets. O-line coach only has so much talent to work with. And Lebeau deserves a lifetime choice when to step down, especially if fossils like Farrior & dumbshits like Taylor can't execute his system.

Arians for sure, since a competently run balanced offense would make Dick's bullheaded inflexibility in light of injuries/loafing, etc. matter a whole lot less. I do think LeBeau should be forced to retire, though. But Arians walking has to happen. And the same with Ligashesky.

He has "ZERO" interest for moving the chains, eating the clock, putting teams away, none of that stuff. Yes, he put "D" on field more than they deserved to be all year and EXPOSED us.

This is Tomlin's issue now. I just hope he reviews the "O" with a critical eye and not get dazzled by the fancy numbers. Reember, we ran up almost 500 yd of offense on Texans in 15-1 yr to their 120-yds or so and still LOST! If Arians doesn't go, it will be more of the same next year. NO FB in HIS offense!
Bettis does not get to HOF in this offense.

Get out, ... get the %&^%$#$ OUT !

Steelers were third in TOP this year.

In several of our losses this year, the offense had no chance to bleed clock in the 4th Quarter because the defense was letting the OPPOSING offense go on long drives and take time off the clock.

As for the Miami drive, after Ben got sacked on 1st down for a loss of ten, what did you want Arians to do? And is calling for a first down pass with 11:30 left in the game a sin? Again- it's funny how when Cowher was here, he got hammered for turtling, but now Arians gets hammered for NOT turtling.

FYI, when it became 27-24, here were the Steelers' playcalls.

Run Run Pass (sack/fumble)

Run Pass Pass Run Run Run Pass Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Pass formation on 4th down simply to bleed clock FG

So...you were saying?

This is the stat I was wondering about. I don't care for Arian’s because of his situational awareness, and if you're going to play 2 Te you have to actually throw to both. Throwing the ball with our lack of bulldozing OL doesn't bother me. We need 1 "anchor" lineman, but the problem is the defense has so many holes to fill. I give LeBeau a 1 year pass with this group of slow footed dinosaurs. If it looks this way next year he should be gone. It's hard to make a defense work with players that either can't run anymore or are clueless. He's not going anywhere so we'll see if the rookies come along or they get a couple of mid level FA to fill roles.

I thought this game was one of Arians' better game plans. However, it does not make up for the plethora of head scratchers over the last couple of years. Stats are great, but poor play calling in critical situations is the difference between winning and losing in this league. You can get away with that shit in college much more than you can in the NFL where the margin between 9-7 & 13-3 can come down to a handful of plays. Also, one thing this league has proven is that year after year teams put up 3000 yds or more passing regularly but do not even sniff the playoffs. Stats do not equal wins

IMHO this group on offense is arguably the best combination of experience and talent we've seen since disco mercifully disappeared off the face of the earth. It shouldn't be any surprise that this team posted those stats, but that does not mean the O play calling is up to par. A greater percentage of these yards compared to year's past came in the last 2 minutes of each half as Ben is scramling to put points on the board to compensate for Arians' ineptitude the rest of the game.

Arian's blows!

If you're not a knee-jerk asshole who couldn't run a Pop Warner team (or play for one), then yes, there are hard decisions to make.

My belief (backed up by Tomlin's statements) is that the Steelers' braintrust believes in the schemes, and that it was execution that caused the team to go backwards in 2009.

That means if anyone goes, it'll be the tacticians under Arians and/or LeBeau, and not those guys themselves.

They'll bring in some hotshots that can push Arians for his job over the next season or two, but Arians will keep his job.

And Butler is probably being groomed to be LeBeau's successor already, but it won't happen until LeBeau is ready to quit.

Dude, did you even watch the Thursday night Cleveland debacle?
I mean, were the Steelers wearing the Browns uniforms and vice versa?
There were Brownies flying all over the field and Steelers looking as if they were stuck in the mud.....

Who ever is ultimately responsible for getting the team ready to play obviously dropped the ball on that one.
Can you sit there and say it was the tacticians under Arians and Uncle Dick? Thats as ludicrous as putting the blame on the equipment manager for giving the Steelers the Browns uniforms to wear that night. Someone screwed up big time that night because the Steelers were out-coached, out-manned and out-played from the kickoff. And that ultimately falls on (Lily) Tomlin.

So you have to think about firing Arians or the Special Teams coach? You need to get on with it - this isn't Pop Warner football where you out simply not to hurt anyone's feelings. Open up a position and lets get a move on with it.
