Re: New Article: Best Bet plus 2 (regular season finale)
I'll play this week, in an attempt to gain some momentum heading into the playoffs...
Dallas -3 over Philli- I think the winner of this game is going to gain a supreme advantage going forward, and is a very likely candidate to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. I guess that makes me selecting the Dallas Cowboys to play for the title...Kinda silly , but I'll stand by that statement till otherwise adjusted. I like the Cowboys ability to stop the Eagles big plays. Philadelphia doesn't strike me as a team that wants to slug it out with Dallas. The Pokes have everything that's necessary to make a title run, and seem to be putting things together at the right time.
**ADDING**
K.C. +11 vs Denver- It should be noted that I am not actually going to wager on this...I bet that Denver goes out...runs two plays a series...Punts on 3rd down...plays defense...wins 16-10...Just kidding . Really I don't think Denver cares. The Chiefs appear to have major "issues" in the defensive backfield, but Denver seems content to sit the most potent ways to attack this weakness. The Chiefs are much more balanced on offense than when these two teams played last time. Jamaal Charles is a good runner and receiver. Matt Cassell can be an efficient player. The Chiefs have to believe they have every opportunity to win this.

Dude, I dont bet in real life? Not sure why I picked them, Im so disgusted? You need a complete reset and new plan. Your at breakeven so use that as base to build from, breakeven is actually a good start! But like most things in life too succeed u got work ur ass off at it. Some sugggestions:
1. try to eliminate any emotion whether win or lose each week (easier said than done) focus on what u did right and wrong each week and write it down.
2. Do u have directTv and try to copy/watch as many games as possible, maybe limit teams ur following and only pik on them.
3. Go online and read each teams sports section as many weeks back as possible, watch all local sport shows on fox net, watch all the nfl shows, espn, nfl network, etc.
4. Dont be a fan of the team ur betting on, too much emotion. I want the Steelers to win every game but after KC theres enough history for a cold-blooded analysis to realize future games vs anybody including Oak,Clev are not gimmes or gasp loses. No Pola, the secondary stinks!
5. Stop commenting or apolgizing when u pik wrong just list specific details what went wrong if u cant come up with anything dont say shit like i have no idea, take ur best guess.
Playing against the boys who come up with the odds is a monumental task, theres probably analysts per team who follow year round, computer programs, etc. Maybe go for detail by following only a few teams and dont bet on the rest, maybe this could even the playing field or put u ahead? These guys get a lot more accurate in point spreads as the season goes on this makes it there only weak point
If ur record gets over 60% on best bets next year, Ill wager on ur piks Cause thats a decent ROI! Its gotta be ur passion though to do all the work. I like watchin the games and drinkin beer which also reminds me, NO Drinkin while watchin ever!
Good luk
