Can anyone confirm this event?
I just heard on a year-in-review sports talk show that during the Steelers Third Ravens game (playoffs) last year, Willis McGayhee (sp) was hit so hard by one of our guys (Clark?) that he was knocked cold for several minutes. As the Ravens thugs were on their knees holding hands saying a prayer for him OUR stadium DJ was playing CCR's "Down on the corner, out in the Street". Did this actually happen? Classic....

Yeah I staggered down to Level 2 - I can't confirm the song but they were definitely playing something over the loudspeaker. I just know I was pretty juiced up & dancing around knowing we were going to the Big Dance again!!

i cannot say i was there to confirm it personally, but I remember pretty clearly when it happened and all of the stench raised by the ravens fans.
it isnt like the p.a. guy was doing it intentionally. there was a long pause in the game and he was probably trained to fill gaps in action with songs.
shoulda played "mama said knock you out."
