Even Colts' fans are complaining about this one.

It's now going to come down to both the bungles and Pats playing for no reason next week.

Yeah its over. The only real thing the Bengals and Pats have to play for is to not play Indy until the AFC championship game.

everybody gives up so quickly , or atleast says things that cause others to bealive its over..... fuck that , it aint over !!! we must beat the dolphins next week , that is all we can controll and if help comes for us and allows us to have a spot in the playoffs , than the steelers are going to be one of the scariest teams in it....



anything can happen , denver really needs to loose tonight though , i dont see philly losin but it is tied with about 6 to go ....

Philly held up their end of the deal and Akers' last FG pretty much sealed my fantasy championship win Don't write off the Raiders too soon. remember they beat us, the bengals and the Broncos (I think). They can surprise decent teams sometimes so that game could still go our way.

That assumes that for some reason CIN and NE somehow have a reason to not want to play the Stillers. I would put it the other way around - CIN is so depleted, that a wild-card team would love to play them. NE - they are doing relatively well.

But the real issue here is that neither CIN nor NE have control over who they can draw. Certainly, they can each play their own game to minimize drawing a certain opponent (e.g., by trying to eliminate that certain opponent from the playoffs altogether). But neither team completely controls that outcome.

SO IMO either NE and CIN are both equally happy with either the 3rd or 4th seed, or one of those teams wants the 3rd seed really badly. CIN might drop the game anyway, because they are depleted and NYJ really need the win. If at half time CIN is losing, then NE might decide to drop their own game too, 'cause it does not matter (and they can eliminate the Stillers).

All in all, Stillers are in deep shit.

i think we can at least count on belichick to go for the win, even in a meaningless game. i feel oakland matches up relatively well with b-more (same sort of profile as cincy, pit, & den) who they've all beaten. but yeah, the f*cking jets will probably bone us. get ready for the colts to not make the super bowl!
