"Sweed, a former second-round draft pick, is on the reserve non-football illness list."
MRSA? Mono?

Re: Sweed season over
The title of this should be "Sweed STILLER CAREER over". What a loser - 2009 stats 1 catch, 5 yds. This guy had more drops than catches, & gets hurt easier than Charlie Batch. I'm still scratching my head why he was in the endzone at the end of the Oakland gm trying to catch the hail-mary from Ben.
Re: Sweed season over
Steelers placed WR Limas Sweed (illness) on the reserve/non-football injury list, ending his season.
Swine flu?
Eczema? Seborrhea? Psoriasis of the hands ??
Better yet, perhaps it was uncontrollable diarrhia?

Don't be hatin on Sweed too much. He'll be back next year. We need him. I know he drove me nuts with his drops but Steelers refuse to give up on him and they shouldn't. The boy can play, he just needs to get his head screwed on straight during the offseason.

Two years, less than ten catches. about ten drops. Bust.

BUST. BUST. BUST.
Thank God the last roster spot did not come down between Limo and Wallace.
Screw his potential.....get him the hell off the team....

i really think sweed has the talent to be great. he can get open. however, how much chances does this guy need? i wanted to give him another shot, but seriously he's had enough chances. Still worried he might get picked up by baltimore and put up numbers against us though, thats why im not saying stuff like cut him now

Tomlin quoted as mixing his metaphors on Sweed. He threw "personal issues" into the mix. I think Limas may be having mental problems ala Vince Young
