Lovie Smith as our new Defensive Coord?

Postby flyinbryan » Sun Dec 20, 2009 10:24 pm

What do you all think? He and Tomlin have a history together and he's likely out of Chicago after this season. I love Lebeau but this defense is about as bad as I can remember and something's got to change.

I'm gonna mark this season for Lebeau under the category of, can't make chicken salad out of chicken feces

allowing 20+ points every 4th quarter is getting super old

and our defense once against didn't even force a single turnover

How often do they have an opportunity to make an INT and don't though?

Tough to win when your defense doesn't force one single turnover for 6 straight games. That might just be a record. We had one against Cleveland on special teams but that was called back on a penalty.
