Things to get ready for 2010 Season

Postby chitownstillers » Fri Dec 11, 2009 4:21 pm

Things to do, to get ready for the 2010 Season.

Place Troy on IR. Start both Rookie Corners. Start K. Urbik at guard now. Bench Farrior move Timmons to Mike LB and start K. Fox at the other ILB. ((Mix P. Bailey in too)) Place Hines on IR (Get him healthy!!) and start Sweed, yes Sweed and let’s see what we really have. Start Ziggy Hood.

Off Season:

Cuts: Ike Taylor, James Farrior, Matt Spaeth
Fire: O-Coordinator and Special teams Coordinators.
Own FA “Not” to resign: D. Townsend, Tyrone Carter, Justin Hartwig, Willie Colon, Willie Parker
Own FA “Consider Resigning: C. Hampton (Best of the lot) Ryan Clark (Look into other options 1st),

Targets FA: CB: Richard Marshall (Panthers) ((Young and can cover and takle!)), S: Antiine Bethea (Colts) ((Under rated)), G Jahri Evans (Saints) ((A young stud anti up!))

Draft: (if we get above): DT, OL, CB, TE, KR (someone who can avg more then the 26 yard line), OL, FB (I miss a good FB!)

If we don’t get FA: SS, CB, OL, TE, CB, OL, FB

While I am not a big fan of Sweed I do think he should get one more shot. He is a 2nd round pick for heavens sake. Just buy him a big tube of stickem and he might be alright.

I know Wallace has been getting all the hype but IMO he hasn't done much since early in the season.

I'd be Stoked to get Berry...but would settle for Josh Haden or Donovan Warren... or maybe even Spikes.

I doubt we will be able to trade up high enough to get Eric Berry... though the thought of having Spikes replace Farrior does sound very nice.

I don't think we need to spend our top pick on another lb (although depth at that position is always key). Fox should be able to fill in quite well. We would probably do better to pick up a top OL or DL spot there.
