My opinion of Tomlin is at its lowest ebb

Postby Jeemie » Thu Dec 10, 2009 11:53 pm

Mikey- don't talk the talk if you ain't gonna back it up.

All this talk of change- and the only change you make is to take the guy who had a career day in the return game off the field.

That's right were was no. 11.

Tomlin looked like he was about to cry in the press conference -- he doesn't know what to do!

Tomlin must know this. He said on national TV that we're going to "unleash hell" in December or who ever gives a shit when. Point is, EVERY game after that comment, the players have come out simply drug induced FLAT...so what is the truth of the comments from the leader????

They don't have any gauge on the "heat or energy" of his players. Is it the OC and DC? Do you care as much when the HEAD COACH makes promises that his ASS hasn't been able to COVER as of yet???

Tomlin is under the microscope now. I can't stand Arians, and I'm done with LeBeau, but the HC....that is the leader emotionally, technically, and soundly. He's been LYING.

They don't have any leaders.
Tomlin clearly doesn't know what to do.
Farrior is done.
Polamalu is a great player, but he's quiet and is injured too often
Ben is full of himself and doesn't practice to become a technically better QB.
Hines is a warrior on the field, but off the field he comes across as being emotionally wounded
Aaron Smith is quiet although is a rock, but he's injured and getting older.

Fact: Tomlin is not going anywhere. I'm OK with that. For now. He fucked this year right up, and he could still prove himself next year. But if you hate Tomlin, then you need to face facts: he's going nowhere. He won a SB and he has at least one shitty, pathetic year to right the ship. Well, one down, fucker.

But what could change? Will we see Arians get fired? It's a no-brainer for most of us here, but will Tomlin get rid of him?

What about Ben? He is not acceptable in terms of getting rid of the ball. Does Mike Tomlin believe in him? Will a new OC, assuming we get one, use him better? Will they use Dixon?

There's a lot of horseshit on this site about who the Baron of Ireland is or whatever, but in terms of what's possible, will enough changes be made?

I cannot stand this year's team. They are, objectively, mollycoddled assholes. This is my team, the fucking Steelers, but they are a loathesome bunch of fucking wieners. Not one of them accepts responsibility (besides saying they do at press conferences) for a single thing.

We are shit. Can we expect enough heads to roll? Enough changes to be made?

One more person brings up Dixon and I will personally drive to your house and beat you with my dick. Roethlisberger will be the Steelers QB for the next 5 years at least. He is a great QB. Did you see our receivers inability to get open man-to-man? Fuck at least Sweed got open and had an opportunity to catch a pass :dunce:

Dixon was not good against the Ravens. We couldn't do anything on offense the entire game, especially the second half. Yes he was doing the best he could with Arians' crappy playcalling but his throwing motion and release is terrible. He threw for 140 yards on a bad secondary (ranked 20 something when we played them).
