This was not Peyton Manning or Drew Brees ripping us apart.. this was freaking Bradkowski! I am utterly disgusted with this team and hope we lose the remaining games so we can get a real CB.. I would look to take a CB in round 1 and a MLB in round 2. Farrior is a fu c king joke!

With that said I just listed all of the remaining teams with legit playoff chances and should the Steelers win out.. which they are CAPABLE of doing...they will most likely sneak in.

Maybe now ppl will realize that Ike Taylor is not a legitimate NFL-quality CB. Those types catch
the ball when it is thrown to them, and then they do something with it besides fumble. Ike has
the size and the speed but NOT the hands or the instincts. William Gay has precipitously regressed from '08 and could not cover me in a phone booth. Since the club is out of the playoff picture (barring a miracle of Biblical proportions) why not try Keenan Lewis and Deshea
Townsend at CB and force the secondary en masse to stand in front of a JUGS machine and each DB catch 100 balls (every drop increases the total by 20). I used to think that Mundy had some talent until I saw his utter lack of discipline in his attempt to emulate Ryan Clark.
Looked too much like the KC game......a dropped INT followed by the D folding like a cheap suit.

Ike Taylor is legit. He shuts down players. He needs other ballers on D. polamalu out. aaron smith out. etc....shit happens. Ike would start on any team in the NFL.

Hi guys my first post and I will have to agree with the majority, our secondary sucks and Ike Taylor has to go, he is awful, he lost the game vs Baltimore as well because he couldn't cover 300 year old Mason. It is just pitiful and I have never seen a secondary with such bad hands in my life. Today was just disgusting in general. KC now OAK? On the flip side although we spuddered on offensive through 3 quarters I am still impressed how we can move the ball when need to, I just can't figure out why Limas Sweed is even allowed to dress.

You have to take the good Ben with the bad Ben, he is always going to make mistakes part of his game, he has been making up for his mistakes its the defense that has been killing us. I am not a guru when it comes to schemes and stuff like you guys are but for the life of me I don't understand how teams go right down the field on us every time it counts. Why change what you do in the first three quarters when they only have 6 pts and then allow them to score 21 in the 4th. One gripe I do have and I have seen it every game this season, what is the deal with every DB, CB and safety we have wasting valuable seconds winding up to lay the big hit just knock the fucking ball away and do your job instead. Too many plays this season I have seen guys like Clark, and Gay winding up before a pass is even caught just to lay the huge it, boggles my mind. Maybe I am wrong but it looks that way on the slo - mo replays on TV you see these guys launching themselves in the air for no apparant reason other than to show off. If they just kept running following the play through they might be able to just slap the ball away or god forbid maybe pick one off.

Today was very dissapointing, the way its shaping up it looks like we are going to need some major help getting a playoff birth, but with 4 games left I really dont think a team that loses to KC and OAK really deserves to be there. If I wasn't such a friggin die hard I should have bet Oakland today the 10 years I have lived here I can't remember the last time PITT was favored by 14 points it may have been the the last game the BUS played against Detroit.

Today should have been a confidence booster for the stretch run, they should have came out sharp and crisp instead just totally friggin flat...I don't blame the coaches on this one, these are the Super Bowl Champs they didn't need any motivation or RAH RAH shit they should have came to do there job knowing what was on the line...they should have came out and made a statement.

Worst part is we lost to them at HOME...how they hell do you lose to OAK at home.

Totally annoyed!

How about Sweed? He obviously can't catch. He has the size, speed, and he is willing to hit. He might make a pretty decent safety.

its possible. I know the pats had a player a few years ago that played both receiver and cb or safety. did it pretty well too.


problem is it would take sweed a couple years to get up to speed if ever. he never played the position before.
