Sixburgh ???

Postby gopackgo » Wed Dec 02, 2009 6:41 pm

I have a question. First, there is no denying that the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the 5 greatest organizations in the history of pro football. What I don't get is why do Steeler fans make such a big deal about 6 super bowls when you are still 6 championships behind the Packers ??? If you go to the Packers official web site they say 12 time world champions. Just courious. Thanks

It's the Lombardi Trophy goPackgo. We have 6 of them, more than any other NFL franchise. A trophy named after Green Gay's former coach. Now go blow elephant balls and stay off of our website you fucking blowhard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apples & oranges my friend. How many teams were in the league back then? I don't recall a salary cap and free agency in the 60's? You will still be living in the past long after we've won our 7th! Go back to your own board cheesehead or do you not have one due to the fact no one in GB can type with their fat sausage fingers.

BTW - I used to respect your organization up until the Favre debacle and until douchebags like you felt the need to make remarks on our boards. I can't imagine ever posting on the enemy's board, maybe because I have no need to be jealous or feel the need to defend my team!

So with that logic then Jim Brown never played in the NFL ?? I guess the Packers organization is wrong for putting it on their web site but Steeler fans are correct. Also, The NFL game is different from 1979 to today if you want to bring that point up. To say all of the NFL records do not count prior to the merger is simply childish and wrong. Thanks again...12 time WORLD CHAMPIONS GREEN BAY PACKERS !!!
