I'm sick and tired of us never covering the back out of the backfield. Brian Leonard has gotten us twice and now the Chefs on the TD.

I fukin give up. The Stillers will get tooled at M&T this weekend. Write it down. Unlike our defense, the Ravens D usually shows up in big games.
I fukin hate watching the playoffs...with the Stillers out of the mix.
Merry Christmas Tomlin...enjoy that big paycheck you fraud.
Maybe Arians and Lebeau will choke on thanksgiving dinner.

Now the question that might be posed is this

Was the 2008 world championship a fluke? The product of the football gods pitting the Steelers against the arguably weak assed Arizona Cardinals

Is it possible that the stench and rot of this years Steelers can taint last years accomplishment?

The more I think of the 3rd and 2 pitch to Moore the more enraged I get. Here is Rashard Mendy running like a man possessed. He saves our bacon by running down Studebakers apparent pick 6 and what does Arians do? He ignores the strength and speed of 34 and goes with the slow developing start by going backwards pitch to our slowest runner

FUCKING UNFORGIVEABLE

SCREW SMIZIK THE IMBECILE! ARIANS IS TOAST DAMNIT!

:suplusone: on that. Smizik is as dimwitted as Arians by defending this piece of shit. We need more people holding up signs at every game screaming to FIRE Bruce Arians.

The Chiefs loss is primarily a coaching loss which sadly shows no signs of correction unless a few things happen:

1. It is Tomlin's job to tell his OC the style of offense and identity he wants this team to have. Without a credible running game, the concept of play action is lost. We have the horses but not the commitment to use them. The inability or unwillingness to run was borne this summer or during the off-season.

2. Our commitment to special teams is obviously lacking, this is the fault of either the scheme or the players assigned to execute it. A deficiency in either category is a coaching deficiency.

3. If our defense can only function as designed with TP in the line-up, this too is a coaching mistake. He has been hurt often in his career and besides, the graveyard is filled with indispensible men.
Having slow-footed Clarke and Cater as the only options is a deficiency of coaching and/or drafting to the scheme.

We'll see what happens this weekend. Another loss will make running the table a sine qua non for the playoffs.

only one thing matters.

if the playoffs start today...were still in it....why? because out of 16 teams were on of the top six. period. you dont like that were not number one in the rankings? tough luck.

you dont like were not undefeated?

tough luck.

we WILL be in the playoffs and we will play like superbowl champions.

deal with the losses.

steelers did last year and STILL won the superbowl.

WRONG, If playoffs started today we would not be in. We have the worse record in the conference of the teams tied at 6-4. Both Denver and Bolts are ahead of us.

DEAL with That Reality

Right now, we have the head to head on both Denver and SD. That will be little consolation if we keep on playing like this and thus keep on losing!

The only thing I am wrong about is that I said Bolts but I meant Jacksonville. Of the three teams with 6-4 records the Stillers have the lowest winning percentage of the three. If playoffs started today we would be in 7th place. Conference record is looked at first before head to head wins such as our win over the Broncos. Sorry Mendyhaul your WRONG. But it's all good we both want to see the Black and Gold in it. :supimpin:

Could you please explain to me how three teams all at 6-4 could have different winning percentages? This should be good

Tomlin needs to step up and put an end to Arians' stupidity, and Lebeaus' sideline naps. We all hear details, details, details, yet I see a LOLB who is 30 lbs overweight, an OC who has no idea how to call an efficient offense, or go with a hot hand, and a DC who sleeps away an entire game anymore. Arians doesn't want to run the ball solely because he can't take credit for calling a play based on player instinct. It has to be a totally clever abortion for him to be satisfied. Lebeau needs to realize the less his corners play bump, the more the opposing QB will attack that 8 to 10 yard cushion we give them on 3rd and 6. Tomlin needs to do a whole lot more with the clusterfuck we have on Special Teams too. When will these guys make a solid effort to tackle? At the tittie bar? Give me a break. It's obvious this team is no longer a hungry team anymore. I have no one to blame other than the ENTIRE TEAM and Coaching Staff.

weve lost four games. two in overtime and i believe the other two were lost in last second on FGs.

Mike Tomlin did not coach an F against KC. If special teams implodes you cant fire everyone and rehire guys off the street.

shit happens.

we just need to win baby.

and anyone that thinks we werent in it in every loss till the end doesnt watch the games.

Yeah, 3 of the losses we were up by 10 or more points. We didn't salt the game away like we could have. Look at the Cinci game. We're down 9 - 6 at the half, yet we abandon the run. The stat proves it. 22 passes, to 9 runs. This is unacceptable. They preach balance, where is it? This is precisely where Tomlin needs to step up and assert himself as the Head Coach. He didn't do it so he gets an F. :sushootem:
