This is exactly what I was thinking and why the play call was so pathetic. It's like Arians doesn't understand who's in the game or doesn't even consider it. The beginning of the play looked good, but Moore was so slow in getting to the outside... If it's Mendy or Parker it might be a first down. It might not, but at least it would have a chance at succeeding

With Moore, there's no way this play would be successful and it was likely we would loose yardage and we did.

If Moore is not in there to pick up a blitz or catch the ball out of the back-field he probably shouldn't be in there.

AMEN. Glad to finally see the traditional media calling a spade a spade. It has been clear for weeks now that Mendy is the real deal. We FINALLY have a legitimate option of keeping him in the game in instead of always putting Moore in. On 3rd and 2 with Mendy in the defense has to defend both the run and pass. Does Arians realize this? NO. Of course not. Does he adapt his gameplan over the course of the season and put in a 3rd and short package of runs and throws that keeps Mendy in the game in these situations? No. Instead he puts Moore in each and every time there is a 3rd down and 1+ yards. Then to make the decision to pitch wide to the slowest back in the stable on 3rd and 2 when any loss puts the team out of field goal range. Absolutely Moronic

Taking over playcalling, as had been mentioned, is going to set a bad taste in the locker room. Having the default idea that either Arians or Tomlin are idiots is ignorant. Arians is trying to set up plays long ahead of time...he has a gameplan, he thought that play would work. I don't like Arians playcalling either, but at this point, the best we can do is to allow Ben to have more no-huddle drives to keep him in control. Having a different person step in is not the answer.

Thats ok. The criticisms are mostly legit. That means that Arians is getting the message. One way or another he is on notice and I would say that means if we fail this season he just may be out of here. Or - and this is a stretch, he will have an epiphany and become an enlightened OC. This means no more grab bagging groping and guessing; but instead; focusing on what is happening; recognizing the problem and the opposing teams tendencies, and countering with real strategy

MT NEEDS to step up. Give Ben free reign when and where to use no-huddle. Give Bruce a menu and tell him to order take-out and go get it during game time.

Early on in season, someone did an analysis on scoring with NO-Huddle (NH) vs scoring when Arians- OFFENSIVE Coord. (and I mean "OFFENSIVE"), calls the plays. Not even close. The guy's gotta go.

Love to see it updated. We are not playoff caliber nor would we go far if we did make it. Good teams DO NOT lose games the way we do. Hold KC under 200 yds all game, 3rd and 9 inside their 5yd and they go for 30+. Then hit another for 40+, I think. Did not see game down here in SC but when I saw that play show up on NFL Gameday, I told my wife - "game over". We ALWAYS give up a long drive, every game, at most critical time.

Thought maybe Ben had a 4 minute comeback drive in him but not to be. Not sure why, not even interested. Game was lost in 1st 15 seconds. How do we let this crap happen?

Yeah pretty much McKees. One thing that wont work either is turning all play calling over to Ben. So we really do need another OC. It will take a failed season for that to happen. You would be right about MT calling plays except his training is in defense
