Couldn't resist
Titans SU vs Texans- Someone from the Houston Texans franchise needs to explain this to me. Houston Texans. Houston- Vince Young's home town. Texans- Texas- A storied program where Vince Young starred and brought a National Title to. Houston Texans select Mario Williams?!? Did you, forget, what your, franchise, was?...Hm. Slobbering over Peyton Manning is no excuse. I'm listening...
Raiders +10 vs Bengals- Betting on teams without a Qb is probably the worst thing to do just so we know. I learned this the last time I picked in one of these threads. At any rate, I think Oakland presents decent value here as a home dog. Benson has been the life of the rejuvenated Bengals. He is out; and while anyone who watched Miami take out Carolina knows that a star running back doesn't have to play for his team to win, I think the Bengals will miss Cedric's toughness this week. The Bengals are and underdog team this year who have been playing up to their opponents. They also played nearly 5 quarters vs Cleveland, and lost SU to a 9pt underdog Houston squad by double digits. Couple these two facts with a potential emotional detoxing and Oakland just may win this gm SU. In other words, the Bengals are not a safe team to throw in a 10pt tease this week. Note: Under 36pts should probably also receive some consideration. If the Raiders are to stay in this game it will most likely have to be with their defense.
That's about all the predictions I want to lay claim to for now.
