Start the Purge witrh Ligashefsky and Arians

Postby PGHeaven » Sun Nov 22, 2009 5:33 pm

Show these two the door tonight. There is no human being on the planet who would argue with the immediate dismaissal of our ST coach

The harder sell is getting rid of the stupidest OC in the league; Bruce Arians

Today was the epitome of how to call plays that result in a loss. The nadir of the day was the pitch to Moore on 3rd and 2 in OT. Everyone in the known universe is aware that the pitch is the slowest developing most easily pursued running play in football. In OT at the 38 yard line you are in 4 down territory and you run QUICK hitters. On 3rd down running quick plays you can go TWICE

Then Sepulveda, perhaps the wosrt punter right now in the NFL, promptly kicks it in the EZ. An absolute asshole

The entire game was rife with the most inept play calling ever witnessed in Steeler history

The blame does not stop[ there

Ben - SUCKED - FUCK the yardage. He choked at all the worst times
OL - SUCKED
Heath - SUCKED
ST - SUCKED
coaches all around - SUCKED
defense - SUCKED

the only men in black * gold who wanted to win was Rashard Mendenhall and Brett Kiesel. The rest of the posiuers can eat shit. I watched Ike Taylor LOAF all day long. Townsend is pathetic. Harrison titty jousted. Farrior and Timmons blew. Clark whiffed continually. Gay is a complete utter fucking washout

A complete utter disintegration of last years Super Bowl champs. It is disgraceful to lose in this fashion. Meanwhile Rooney is more interested in bowing & scraping for our so called president

What a horrible year on all fronts.

Weren't you at least impressed with the defensive secondary 'tackling' by bouncing off the KC offensive players without lifting a hand, finger or arm in an effort to tackle?

I saw a replay of that long play the led to the game-losing FG.......... The secondary seemed to act as if it presumed the play would be stopped for short yardage, got complacent, and then ended up getting caught way out of position............

It's as if the players away from the ball either thought KC wasn't capable of burning them or were overconfident those closer to the ball would make a play..................... But it looked like they were watching the game instead of participating in one.

This team is playing LAZY right now. The players away from the ball have become spectators instead of reliable participants. It's come to the sad fact that the other team wants the game more than we do.

We need to load up on DBs this coming draft. This is the big hole on this team, even when we're on all cylinders. Our pass rush is too good to have so few INTs.

it time to cALL OUT Tomlin and his team it starts with the head coach. This loss should never happen and his refusal to fire either one of his 2 piece of shit St Coaches is unforgiveable.

Almost makes you think we're SUPPOSED to lose. Doesn't it? Well doesn't it?

Hell, at our bar I was screaming for Tomlin to fire him on the sidelines after to KO return. Not later, not at halftime, right then...... send him packing ON THE SPOT!!!

You can fire the ST Coach all you want. Eventually the players gotta run down the field and make a fucking tackle. Im sure Ligashefsky doesnt preach giving up touchdowns during the week.

Im tired of seeing logan run the fuck past everyone on coverage. We get it your are fast, but hes just a one trick pony. Wallace could do his job and we could someone out there who can hit.

Sweeds a pussy, im tired of seeing him miss a tackle and act like hes fucking hurt. Get the fuck off the field.

I remember when Orpheus Roye used to be the wedge buster. He busted his ass to get down the filed and blew everything up. The group we put of there is so fucking soft its pathetic.

Jeff Reed's leg is fucking weak. Hes the reason we punted in OT. Put his weak leg with his douchebag shit off the field and ill be happy to see him go.

Reed KO was not at fault yesterday it was shitty tackling and Logan has to be taken off that team cause he is useless. We seem to have no heart on ST and since you can't fire the players the ST coaches need to go.

Reed's KOffs ARE the problem: he overkicks the coverage.

Problem is, even if he kicks all the way to -5y (in EZ), the ball didn't HANG in the air long enough - his kicks are LOWER then desired, thus when the returner catches it, it has about 2-2.5 secs to scan the field, and look for that elusive wedge.

Our coverage should be 1-1.5secs from the returner to properly close gaps after the retrun man catches the ball.

I'd rather see Reed kick higher kicks, with 4sec hang time and end with the short kickoff (15-20yline) but with our front of KickCoverage team converging at the runner within a half a second.

Just my $0.02

that is certainly the correct application of physics, The answer is high AND long. So that is another reason why Jeff is out of here when FA comes

The other part of the equation is our coverage speed and lane discipline. THEY BOTH FUCKING SUCK

NOONE on this team is a "true" gunner.
