Another Plaxico in the making

What a worm.

“There was just something missing all day, and I don’t know what it was,” Roethlisberger said. “Something was weird about the day. I don’t know if it was the (mid-60s) weather in November or what it was. Even the crowd at the beginning—everything was just kind of different. No excuse.”

Holmes suggested that if Roethlisberger felt that way, it explains why the Steelers lost.

“He’s the quarterback. He’s got control over everything, who touches the ball,” Holmes said. “He dictates where the ball goes, and if he felt that way, it’s probably why we didn’t win the ballgame.”

Another POS that never takes any blame. WE don't need this trash.

Really? As far as I'm concerned, he was the only player on offense doing anything at all. Ward is way too slow off the line and can't get open quick enough for Ben to get him the ball on blitzes and Wallace is always running 25 yards downfield. Ben's only usable receiver that day was Tone.

This is where an OC with half a brain makes adjustments.

Maybe I was looking out the window at the time but did I miss the "no-huddle"? Because when we go to it, we usually score, oh, I don't know, maybe 90% of the time. Is it me or does Bruce just say, "screw those guys, we'll beat them our way come hell or high water"?

Just as I suspected. The Cincy FO sent Ben a hooker the night before the game. It's an old trick but it still works.

Get bent. Some of you guys just want to bitch about everything. You got no business posting on a Steeler board.

I read the article and agree with every word Tonio said. Now, should he have said it?

I say that when Ben started talking about something in the air like Jim from taxi the slate was wide open and Tonio SHOULD have said something just to snap BR7 out of it

No, Tonio is no worm at all. you need to rethink your statement

PG. I respect your opinion here and other places, but I think as you said if he feels that way he has to say it behind closed doors, but I don't think he should say it at all as he nevers seems to take the blame. Leaders will start with their own performance. I didn't read of him mentioning his drop in this game or some other bad games he had earlier. I don't hink anyone felt Ben had a good game, starting with Ben, but you have to have each other's back. It reminded me a little of when asked in Ben's rookie year if he was excited about having him in the game, and Faneca responed with something like whay should I be excited? You may feel that way, but how about having a teammates back. When the line was getting blasted last year who had their backs?
