Re: New Article: Book Review - "Gridiron Leadership"
I teach Language Arts to middle school students. I am interested in this book for the students in my class. Not having read the book yet I am not sure how difficult the reading level is, but regardless this is the kind of book I think students should be exposed to. Pro Sports cannot exist with just amazing athletes. Many of my students want to be the 'star athlete' but do not often think about the vision, organization and leadership it takes to make the Sports leagues we enjoy so succesful. Thanks for the reference Still Mill. I am going to track this book down.

Long time lurker compelled to post by the unique circumstances of the posted book review. I was born in Pittsburgh (Natrona Heights, Allegheny County to be precise) and moved to Texas at age 14. I have been a Stiller fan all my life, and had the privilege of attending Texas A&M University for my undergraduate education.
I can confirm that the traditions and campus-wide team dedication at Texas A&M parallel the community identification and general fan support of the Pittsburgh Stillers in many ways. I will look forward to reading 'Gridiron Leadership', thank you for alerting me to its existence.
Geographic Disclaimer: I currently reside in North Carolina as a proud member of both Stiller and Aggie Nation. A Stiller flag graces my front porch 11 months out of the year. During the month of July, the flag-pole is reserved for Ol' Glory.

Dracula -- as noted in the article, you can procure this book at both Amazon.com, as well as BarnesandNoble.com. Here is the link at Amazon -- http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_1_8?u ... x=gridiron
MD -- great to hear from ya here on this board. Kudos for your being an Aggie. Although not an Aggie myself (am a Duquesne and Pitt alum), I have nothing but the utmost respect and esteem of A&M and its Corps of Cadets. I can assure you that you will very much enjoy this book and get a lot out of it.
