I know, I know, this is StillMill's site, and if we don't like it, we can go elsewhere. And sure, the Mill has a great grasp of the game and has some great insight. And yes, no one wants to be fed a steady diet of fawning crap that passes for analysis in the Pittsburgh press and the national media.
BUT...
Enough negativity already! The glass is not always half empty, and LeBeau is no second rate stooge. AP has wrecked teams single handedly in the past. I thought we did a great job on him for the most part. The Vikings' O is prolific. We frustrated them for most of the day. Yes, they dominate TOP and had some big plays, but go ask them if they thought we played them tough or not. They have two sure hall of famers in their backfield!
Lebeau has been THE common denominator in over a decades worth of superb defenses. Give the man some credit and enjoy a hell of a team backed by a first rate orginization. Who would you rather trade places with Mill? Want to walk a mile in a Charger fans' shoes? Try rooting for the Jets year after year. And I'm not even mentioning the crap teams that are an embarassment to professional sports.

Poor offensive game planning by Arians in this game had a lot to do with the D on the field all day. I agree that Lebeau is a great coach and if Arians let the O play the way they're capable of, you will see the numbers like last year.

hell I questioned why the home page polls were always so negative and got banned! believe it or not mill doesn´t take criticism very well even though he doles it out by the ton. he´ll call you a name an 8 year old would come up with and ban you if you question his authoritah...why bother?

I think the defense is keeping us in games, which is all we can ask. The NFL has made it so there are no dominant defenses like there were in the past, so keeping the opposing offense below 20 points has to be considered a win, no matter what the stats show.

LeBeau constantly has this defense in the top tier of the NFL and has won 2 Super Bowls in 4 years.I enjoy Mill's post game analysis but he always seems to have a "straw man" to belittle.Haslett,Lewis,Arians,Gilbride,now Lebeau.I appreciate criticism but you'd think the Steelers are on a par with Detroit or Cleveland if you read his stuff.
