A few comments about the game in London

1) If I were a Tampa Bay fan I would be very mad that they lost a home game.
2) Is it any coincidence that New England gets to be the team who gets to play on the road at a neutral site? Glad to see Roger is taking care of his boy Belichick

I could be wrong in this line of thinking, but Tampa Bay owner Malcolm Glazer and his family have ventured into European sports team ownership market. I can see why from their point of view, getting exposure in the UK makes sense.

We always hear the Home Field Advantage stat for the nfl. Why does Goodell think its fair to send a home game away to disrupt the divisional competition?
I wish that NFL.com had the balls to put up a poll on their site asking if NFL fans support games in Europe.
Like most of everyone on this board, we grew up adoring the Steelers or the NFL. We buy the jerseys (at $100 a pop), the tickets, and devote our sundays to NFL football (and a lot of additional time). The $$ market for the NFL is monstrous, yet Goodell is compelled to tap into more money.
This topic gets me spitting mad. Goodell took a home game away from New Orleans last year. If there is one home team area that could use an influx of money it is New Orleans. Nevermind the Saint's owner - how about the parking vendors, local bars and restaurants, hotels etc. that lost out that week. I have been to the Superdome and there is an overwhelming number of visitors in those seats. Those same visitors are dumping hundreds each in the French Quarter saturday night.
I wish I could design a protest - league wide - at an NFL game this season to show the overwhelming rejection by the fans for more (if any) regular or postseason games in Europe. A second quarter back turn, or chant.....something to show the NFL and its owners that fans are mad and not going to take it anymore.
