how about a less biased poll?

Postby steelerspaz » Sun Oct 25, 2009 7:21 pm

I guess mill thought the Steelers defense had no chance at holding Favre, Peterson, and the Vikings offense. Fair enough, I don't expect him to say he was wrong after the defense held them to their least number of points all season, or after 2 defense TD's. But I would like to take the opportunity now to ask that Mill provide us with some genuine polls, with genuine answers. I would've been interested to see everyone's beliefs on how the defense would hold up, but there weren't any answer choices for those of us who actually thought the defense could hold up.

Give Mill a break. Maybe they don't allow a fourth entry like:

"Steelers D stuff the Vikings in the red zone and then convert two turnovers into two touchdowns."

Surely you have to give Dullard Dick the credit for this one, right?

Heck everytime a steelers player misses a tackle or blows a coverage, the Dick haters on this board blame Lebeau. So I better read them giving credit for making his 63rd career interception yesterday - and since he forces the defense to practice blocking on returns - you might as well give him the TD in his statbook.

I'd have to agree here. Dick's been more than OK over his tenure with the Steelers. I won't be so fair weathered as some.
