Mendenhall's blitz pickup and blocking looks superb to me. Could not see browns game but it really stood out to me in highlights I watched.

it is, he does a much better job than parker and maybe even moore in this category. he's only messed up one blitz pickup since he started and that was one of his first plays as a starter, which could just be accounted to the jitters.

what i like about his blocking though, is he doesn't just block the blitzers, he bulldozes them. helps that he's got 25-30lbs on our other RB's and is built like a brick

if this kid lives up to his potential, he will be amazing. he has the makings of a complete running back (power, speed, quickness, vision, ability to catch out of the backfield, blocking)

We are really going to need some production from Mendy this Sunday; Not only in the blocking department but the running department as well. Our team should blow this Vikes team out. We have more play makers on our team. I hope Ben continues to bring his A game.

He has been superb with pass blocking.

What is up with his knee? - I heard he sat out of practice wednesday.

haven't heard anything about mendy's knee though it sounds like troy sat due to his knee being twinged.
