I agree. See my post on initial thoughts. Several games this year we have had nice rushing yards in the first half only to ignore the handoff in the second. This stat blows mymind:

Mendy 165 yard last week. Mendy 62 yard in the first half, 15 yards in the second half. Big Ben sacked 0 times in first half and 3 sacks in the second. I think the two stats or related.

Maybe Arians is holding his secret weapon close to the vest until the playoffs. (the run game) :P

Arians is afraid to pound the rock. If he was to just run the ball when we have a comfortable lead, all of his 'guru, creative, ggutless, assholic, dumbf*ck', plays would be neutralized, and he couldn't try to hog credit for the wins we get. We can't have our lameass OC unsatisfied.

Any other O Coordinator would pound the rock in this scenario, and pass only if the situation calls for it. Mendy is a beast, and should've had at least 25 carries today. Because of Bruce, the guru, he had less than half. Arians is a joke, and should be sent back to Cleveland. He fits in well with them in that he needs to be flushed with the Browns.

WHY does Miller disappear in 2nd half? ALL catches in 1st half, ... as freaking ususal. WHY?
Mendy, having a another great game, doesn't see the rock in 2nd half.

What the hell do they do at half time?
It used to be we were a 2nd half team, after adjustments were made, we were 2nd half beasts.
Now we're in there sipping tea and eating crumpets? Are we knitting jockstraps too?

Cincy will be a problem this year and the Ravens are tough. We do NOT have it easy in this division. Sweed's drop will be a long-remembered issue in Dec. unfortunately. I still think he can be a player, a factor even, but his head is going to need some work if he doen't get a confidence booster and soon. We are going to need him come end of year.

As good as the game plans, offensive play calling has been the last 2 games, the Blood Clot STILL doesn't get it when it comes to go with what's working. SD and Detroit should have been "rest the starters" type games and we let them hang around. This will catch up to us. Minnesota, 2-Ravens and 1 Cincy game will be problematic if we don't have an honest assessment of what we are doing with pass defense and clock mgmt.

Because it's too easy, and simple to hit Miller on a simple seam route or a quick hitch. It's also too easy to take the air out of the ball when you have a 15 point lead, and let Mendenhall pound defenses to death. Arians has to get cutesy.

The adjustments probably go like this. 'The hitches worked, so did the seam routes. The Plunges, and cutbacks worked too. We won't call any of these in the second half, because I got some creative plays for that'. says Arians to Tomlin. All of that said, Dullard Dick falls asleep.

This is where Tomlin needs to step in and stop the madness. At least Blowhard Billy would have sent our Guru of OCs back to Cleveland by now.

He keeps this train wreck of 2nd half screw-ups going, his secret weapon will be any pictures he has in his bottom drawer.
Just when it looks like he's reading all these posts and learning something, like opening up the "O" with some creativity, getting Mendy and Mo and Wallace involved, USING MILLER for more that a gatekeeper, using all his weapons, ...then he comes into 2nd half to salt this game away and leaves his brain back on the men's room floor,...AGAIN!

Whatever it is, it must be contaigious because Dick is showing signs of it too.

Mill, anyone, time for a "no huddle" scoring update vs. Bruce's follies?
Ben goes no-huddle after the pic-6, and scores in 4,5 plays. Bruce goes cute and we get soft.

CBSSports.com reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall received only six touches in the second half of Week 5 due to the team passing so much. Mendenhall still amassed 77 yards on 15 carries with one touchdown in the game.

Read "Arians agrees Lloydgreene was right"

Mendy had 62 in first half, and was the forgotten step child in half 2. Big Ben had o sacks in first half and 3 in second half. Then after the game, Arians said "I got greedy going for the big play." Well- documented issues with the lack of focus on the run game in the second half
