Article by the bus
Jerome made another article on his former team. I disagree a bit with his statements. Guess which one it is

Re: Article by the bus
It's obvious the only reason he said that is because he and the Bus were good friends back in Pittsburgh. Willie should by no means be anything more than the change of pace back.
Re: Article by the bus
Here's a fallout question: Who's your tailback next week? Easy. Willie Parker is the starter, and if he's healthy you go with your starter.
that stupid stubborn shit didn't work with kordell. short flashes of great doesn't mean great.
from another thread:

parker for no gain
parker for -3 yards
parker for -2 yards
punt
That's actually pretty similar to when he's 100% too
that sums it up. i say give the rock to rashard until he has cost at least 2 games. willie had a few multi-fumble games. let rashard have a dig at the job.

The Bus was one of the worst post-season backs in history IMO.
He should just shut the fuk up IMO.

That's pretty harsh, IMO. I would argue that by the time the Steelers had a real QB, Jerome's best days were well behind him, and his injuries just kept nagging him late each year (probably b/c he got 30 carries a game for around 10 years).
Nevertheless, I was surprised to see Bus relegate Mendy to instant backup status if/when Parker gets healthy. I don't agree with this view. I think Mendy has huge opportunity to solidify his role this week. He has been more explosive out of the backfield and hits the hole with more purpose. Plus, the Steelers haven't committed to Parker beyond this year, which means they want to get Mendy used to the starting role. If the O-line can play with the kind of focus they did last week, I think Mendy is the man from here on in...IMO.
