Postby PSUPERCY » Mon Oct 05, 2009 1:16 pm

I would say Mendenhall for hard hat except a lot of those holes came from Kemo's Road-Grating Pulls!!!!! I say Kemo for hard hat. :D

Kemoeatu (or the entire o-line) has to win the hard hat in my opinion. Mendy had a great night but he was also running through monster holes

While I agree that OLine played an OUTSTANDING game - it was only GOOD ENOUGH given the opposition.

How many yards did Chargers give up on the ground in previous games? Nothing special with that Charger front seven. Below average even. 151 yards/game giving on the ground. (includes our game).

Raiders: 148
Ratbirds: 130
Doncos: 215
Stillers: 177

In conclusion - I think SD just SUCKS. HORRIBLE TEAM. Browns would beat them.

But at least - we BEAT THEM on the offensive side of the ball, and THAT is something to build on.

i think the most important thing is we had things to build on. we finally have rushing touchdowns from someone else other than roethlisberger on a sneak. besides if we look at those other teams, they are all strong running teams. oakland sucks but they have a good running game. reason why they lose is because jamarcus russell makes bubby brister look like joe montana

besides, we were up against a weak defense last week and couldn't get it on the ground. what we saw last night was progress and i'll take that. defense just has issues they need to fix, but i think it is fixable. In all fairness to the defense though it was 2 huge special teams fuck ups that put us in a bad situation.

The only prob I have w Kemo for Hard Hat is the play where he was injured, saved SD a crucial timeout, and came in the very next play. Other than that he was a beast. Mendy and Ike (other than his half assed attempt at tackling Gates at the 5yd line) are my three nominees. Don't forget BR7 either....

Did you see the replay of what happened to his knee? It looked like what happened to Polamalu. I was surprised he even came back. IMO it's just another reason for him to win the Hard Hat

i can't "THIS" this enough. i saw that and thought "FUCK. there goes his season and hopes of this run game having any continuity."

when i saw he came back in, my jaw dropped and i WTFed.

he is tough, crazy, or both.
