Thank you, Mill.
I think that, this may be one of your best post game reports.
I can not disagree with any of your analysis...I am supremely disappointed with Woodley and Tomlin.
To think that, Tomlin would allow players to underperform to this level, unacceptable and unforgivable.
What a fucking mess!

Re: New Article: Stillers-Bungals Postgame Analysis and Grades
for having 20 or 22 starters returning this season, and with supposed roster upgrades, the coaching staff is most to blame for not getting the team prepared.
there's no hustle or sense of urgency in this team whatsoever (minus harrison who's been playing his ass off, but can't do it alone)
the amount of talent we have on the team, to be 1-2 and losing in the manner that we did 2 times in a row is nothing short of inexcusable. tomlin, arians, and lebau all deserve F's

I think you missed 1 point. Why at the end of the first half before 3rd down do we call a time out? Let the clock run. Clearly with our field position and timeout situation we could have run a play to see what played out. IN this case run the clock and take at least a 13 point lead into half. Really poor clock management.

Jeez, you're the only person, besides myself, who thought that TO on third down was absolutely moronic...... It's as if we didn't know what down it was or something. (I think Tomlin tried to cover up that ill-called TO by going for it on 4th and 4, to hopefully avoid an ensuing Bungles end-of-half drive, made possible by the added time from the TO. Which would have been unavoidable with a FG or even a punt. But the 4th down play failed.) And the TOs in the second half. I was thinking, if the Bungles make that 4th down, at least go after them and risk a TD on that one play..... At least we can try several plays in desperation. But no...... We give them a first down inside the 5, and CP four more shots to win the game, with no chance of a comeback........
I thought Tomlin was an intelligent coach...... But these last two games really raised doubt regarding that...... Maybe the biggest disappointment as a Stiller fan. He's not a rookie coach anymore, but he's suddenly making rookie coach mistakes.
What's really whacked is I think we should have lost the opener. We were so close to 3-0, but then again, we were equally close to 0-3.
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

Good Job Mill.
A couple of thoughts...
- Wallace may be the only player in contention for the Hard Hat. 7 for 102, no drops, and 4 big 1st downs.
- Ike reinforced my theory that he plays to the level of his competition. In the Chico game, with their practice squad starting receivers, he looked entirely disinterested. Going against Ochosucko, Ike brings his A game and plays fierce, focused football all game long. It's on the coaching staff to recognize and address that problem.
- By my count, the Offense left 18 points on the field. (Peed's Drop - 7, 2 chippy FG's that should have been TD's - 8, 1 missed FG - 3). Conversion on any of these makes the 4Q TD drives meaningless.
- Why does the DumbFuk Arians insist on trying to run left? Colon and Essex are the better run blockers. If his a$$ was up in the booth, where the OC belongs, he MIGHT be able to see this.
- Bungles Stat - 3 for 3 on 4th Down - absolutely miserable

Weve given away 2 wins in a row now! Lets all sing along: "we bungled it, we bungled it, la la la". Same culprits as last week and Santonio is leading the way. Somebody please takeaway his super bowl dvd, hes still livin the dream. We blew an 11 point lead in the the 4th and two 4th down plays, were's the pass rush & blitzs? Sure the coupla blitzs we tryed didnt work, but neither did softee. I would have preferred a big blitz on the 4th & 10 and go down swinging at least. Lima Peed, I was shoutin fu bombs at this guy for 5 mins after his choke. It was sick the way in which he dropped this, after a clear catch and just fallin down, on his back for christ sakes. I wouldnt let him play again for the next 3 weeks, barring injuries and after, only if the game is a blowout. Such hope during the preseason too, but preseason only gets u some chances in regular season and man u have some collossal drops! Its a rat race world, what have u done for me lately thing and man as far as I can recall u aint done shit?
Ur about to learn a hard lesson of life. Sittin there smilin on the bench after that blunder. Look at Ward sittin next to him, he wants to win! About the time u figure it out ur short NFL playin career is going to be over. Mill can be a little brutal sometimes with his comments, . I think he summed up the sentiment on Peed pretty good.
Up by 11 in start of 4th then Tonios blunder, Bungles back in game and next 7 or 8 1st down plays after that were all runs and oh boy was Cinci playin it on the last 5. So basically we only allowed ourselves 2 downs to get 10. Ok, were up were trying to eat clock & run it out. Were gonna pound that sq peg in that round hole, try & stop it ala Bettis, well they did. We could have used a coupla of those 1st down play gimmes to toss another deep one to Wallace. At least twice a game, alot more reward if were still lookin at 2nd & 10 either way.
Looks like some players are still 'livin the dream' from last year. It's ok, but please let ur coach know so he can sit u down on the bench so u can relive that dream. And do us a favor by sukkin ur thumb on the bench so as fans we know why ur not in there! SD should end are fan misery next week, the hole will be too deep .

You've nailed it Still Mill. Your incredulity towards the Steelers is appropriate and well timed. The Steelers are Super Bowl hungover. The lethargy and stench is unmistakeable. I really think the older guys are out of FN shape so your comments about the country club training camp are right on as well.
Re: New Article: Stillers-Bungals Postgame Analysis and Grades
I finally agree with one for your analysis'. Four games in a row now LeBeau's defense has given up 4th quarter leads. If Farrior was one step faster he would have had that guy on the 4th and 10.
The line blocks well to the right as Kemo seems to pull very well.

Here are my thoughts...
Kemoeatu is absolutely atrocious. Nice job on that pull inside the five in which you totally whiffed you fat waste of space and salary cap.
Farrior makes me sick. Seeing him get detroyed while feebly attempting to stop the run was downright laughable, and his pass coverage was at a Dwayne Washington/Tim McKyer like level of futility.
Wallace is for real. Very rarely do rookie WR's step in like he has, and good thing too because Limas Sweed is absolute poop.
I know pointing this out is useless, but they have to find a way to integrate Logan into the offense somehow.
The long and short of it is Mill hit this recap out of the park. Spot on...

Yeah, well I guess we have to accept that our team captain plays like shit in the 4th quarter. Maybe Tomlin can realize that our older guys tend to get tired late in the game and bench them. That step cost us the game....
After that play, I knew, I just knew that it would be Farrior that would somehow miss his man for another TD. This guy is supposed to know where to be and has free will to make up his own mind about where he needs to be on the field(which is to be in the middle of the field) and he decides to back peddle to the back of the end zone and cover the goal post. Either bench him more often throughout the game or entirely int he 4th quarter!

God, I love listening to you guys b***tch. Are people in Pittsburgh really this unhappy? Is it still grey and polluted up there? Is that the reason you guys complain all the time?
Could of used Joey Porter yesterday huh?

Re: New Article: Stillers-Bungals Postgame Analysis and Grades
From Limas Peed pissing his pants, and the ball away in the EZ, to the gutless, vanilla playcalliing from Mr. Offensive, we don't need a FB do we?, Arians, to Dullard Dick shitting himself again in the 4th Qtr, this loss is unacceptable. Why would they take Wallace out of the game on that play, while he's got the got hand, and put Peed in at that point. When did the GildedDong return to the team? His lack of effort is flat out nauseating. Taunto Farrior misses yet another clutch tackle, when will they put him out to pasture and shoot him? I cannot believe that Polamalu goes out, and the defense literally falls to pieces. This feels like 2006 all over again.
Bruce Arians: Proudly carried the Honor of Short Bus All-Star 2007-2011. Good job, and glad you're gone Dumbfuck!!!!!

Re: New Article: Stillers-Bungals Postgame Analysis and Grades
Mill, Your assessment of this mess is sadly and entirely accurate. Some changes I’m seeing that need to happen (soon, very soon):
1. Farrior needs to sit out some plays, at the very least. Key Fox seems to be playing well. Why not give him reps throughout the game so Taunto doesn’t run out of gas. Does he even have any at the beginning of the game?
2. Use Mendenhall for power running situations and stop sending FWP up the middle when everybody, including the ball boy, the ball boy’s mother and the hot dog vendor know it’s going to be a run up the middle. Bethel Park Junior Varsity team could stop this play for god’s sake! Why run up the middle when there are 8-9 defenders in the box?!?! Pitches, sweeps, slants even…
3. Get rid of GD prevent defense! Rushing 3 or 4 in obvious passing/2 minute situations and playing CBs 20 yards off the line of scrimmage is ridiculous. The only thing it’s preventing is the Stillers from winning.
4. Make Mike Wallace the 3rd receiver and bench Sweed. Send him to a wide receiver coach, please! For god’s sake, how many games is this guy going to lose by dropping passes that are PERFECTLY placed in his hands?
5. Play Ziggy Hood. Fat Casey is good for about 1 or 2 plays a game then takes a dump.
6. Fix the red zone offense.
7. Bring Redman up from the practice squad. Summers obviously needs more time to develop.
8. Play aggressively the whole game. The Stillers don’t have a Bus or O-line that can impose its will in the 2nd and protect a lead. I never really liked that philosophy anyway. PLAY AGGRESSIVELY for 60 minutes on both sides of the ball!!!
9. Start calling some creative plays, perhaps. There is a decided lack of originality by both coordinators here (perhaps that is the understatement of the year). The sort of painfully predictable, bland play-calling we’ve seen for 2 years now can last, at most, a season in the NFL. Intelligent, creative coordinators (unlike the Stillers coaching staff) will eventually wise up and guess what!
10. Get this team focused. Bonehead errors are unacceptable for a super bowl championship team. Holmes, Woodley and Sweed, to name a few, need to get it together. This is the coaches’ responsibility. If players are screwing up, COACH them or bench them or both. Games are being lost because of stupid mistakes on a regular basis. Completely unacceptable.
This could be a long ugly season.

We just have a team that's worth caring about.
And we don't need to go to other team's chat rooms to run our mouth and compensate for an obviously lack of self-esteem.

You are clearly a highly intelligent and competent person. I’m sure that someone as accomplished and dignified as yourself has no need to go to another team’s chat room and make feeble attempts to insult their city. Obviously, you’re not trying to compensate for glaring deficiencies in other areas.

OK, Tomlin, WTH?
This guy went from a good coach to a guy as sharp as a pound of wet leather. Did anyone else see the "NFL Soundbytes" or whatever it's called, where Tomlin was on the sidelines all giddy like a 3rd grade schoolgirl showing off his new Steeler Shoes?
Pathetic.
I'm tired of watching games pi$$ed off. Going back to the Superbowl, it was a sigh of relief, not a jump for joy when that game ended. Maybe I'm just spoiled, having grown up in the '70s. Or maybe I still have the Stanley Cup win on the brain. That game was amazing to watch.
As of late, Sundays are just making me mad, all day.
Too bad our boys in Black n Gold don't feel the same way.
