Ravens O vs Steelers O

Postby BigE » Sun Sep 27, 2009 11:33 pm

The Ravens (who's opponents are a combined 2-7 ) have been averaging just over 31 points so far this year. Flacco has thrown 7 touchdown passes through 3 games. Why can't the Steelers score any fucking points. Aside from the drop balls, OC is the primary problem. Cam Cameron is actually an intelligent OC who knows how to get the most out of his talent. Arians is the biggest fuckhead in the NFL, and Tomlin deserves some of the blame for this putrid play caller. Tomlin was the idiot who promoted this guy and until he fires Arians, I cannot give Tomlin my vote of confidence. There is no way in hell that the Ratbirds have more talent offensively than the Stillers, yet they are far more productive. No misdirections, screens. why can't Logan be worked into the offense the same way the Darren Sproles has been worked in San Diego, they are basically the same type of player. Only a dumbass like Bruce could find a way not to involve the talented Logan in any way, form or fashion. And Ben needs to start putting some touchdown passes up, I know the asshole Sweed dropped a sure td pass, but 1 td pass per game is pathetic, that is why he is not considered elite in the national media's eyes.

You make some good points..I agree, Tomlin has failed this season, thus far.

Ben is elite..I couldn't possibly care less who the ESPN Patriot cockstroking media considers to be elite.

We lack the mentality to WANT, to put up massive amounts of points, we possess the talent to do so, but we turtle and play it safe..loser mentality.

Arians is not going to be fired..he and Ben are buddies..won't happen.

And while Cameron is probably the best o cord in the league there is more talent than you think with that o.

Ravens O is more talented than the Steelers. Better stock of RBs and most importantly lineman. That makes it easier for Flacco to put up 300 yards while his RBs combine for 175. They avg 35 points per game to our 15.

I don't care who the Ravens have played. We put up 13 against Tennessee while the Texans put up 34 and rookie QB Jets put up 24.

I don't agree. They have a 2nd year (albeit talented) quarterback and very pedestrian receivers with no true deep threats. I give them the slight edge in running backs although we could have traded out of the first round last year and picked up Ray Rice (their feature back). Instead we chose Mendenhall in the first round who none of us knows whether he is any good or not becasue he has barely been given the chance to carry the ball.

The big difference is Cam Cameron vs. Bruce Arians. This is a huge mismatch that I pointed out in the preseason when so many Stiller Yinzers were saying the Ratbirds will suck this year.

fuk the ravens....

I hate that team, but I admire the way they played this weekend...they got the lead and never took their foot off the gas

3 games does-not a season make, but i never dreamed we'd be off to such a shitty start....by GIVING AWAY 2 games.

I don't envy san diego this weekend - we're backed into a corner and i expect the stillers to play angry

let's hope so...
