Stillers vs. Titans. The Grudge Match.

Postby lloydgreene » Thu Sep 10, 2009 7:03 am

Am I seeing what I'm seeing? On the fonr page of the post-gazette stillers page we have a Titan blowing his nose into our beloved terrible towel?

Do not think for a minute that this will go unnoticed (or un retaliated) tonight.

After we symbolicly drag their asses through the mud tonight, we will take one of their jersey's and stomp it into the ground after the game is over. Then we will kick their everloving asses right back to Tennesee. :sufu:

It seems that we the fans find the Towel far more important than the players would, although we would all like to think that it's a slap in the face to the franchise.

From a motivational standpoint, the Steelers D should watch some film of last year's game if they want to get pumped. They made Kerry Collins look a lot better than he is, and the Titans were the only squad that gained over 300 yds on total offense in the regular season against them. I see that as being more of a motivating factor than the Towel stomp.

But if they are pi$$ed about the Towel in the way a team might get riled if the other team posed on their logo after a TD, then more power to them for their dedication to the city, its fans, and Steelers' iconology.

Do I really have to wait 10 and a half hours to watch this game tonight? Let git it on.

I agree, with MTQ.

Re-watching last year's game between the two teams..the Titans offensive and defensive lines pushed around most of the game. Very embarrassing.

Scrubs like Justin Gage looked like a Pro Bowler and that frigg'in bum "Pour me another" Collins was tossing lasers off his back foot...sickening!

Don't forget about Micheal Griffin returning a pick six, adding salt on the wound.

Chris Hope says, "we beat them (Stillers)in the regular season, they won the Super Bowl so, its like we feel we should've played them for the right to go to the Super Bowl."

Too bad for them that, they could not win when it really mattered.

So, the Titans...in other words, think we should have to beat them, in order for us to be crowned SB Champions...ridiculous.
The Titans don't acknowledge the Stillers as the Champs..let's not kid ourselves..in their locker room, they really don't.

So knowing this, is all the motivation the Stillers need to kick the shit, out of the overrated, ego-inflated Titans' ass.

Not so sure about that. When Housh wiped off his cleats with the towel, it pissed a lot of the players off. Cowher even used it as motivational material. :subngtowl: :sucope: :subngtowl: :sucope: :subngtowl: :sucope: :subngtowl: :sucope:
