I think 11-5 is on the down side.

We went 12-4 last year facing the toughest schedule in football (minus Brady of course) so we should be looking at doing much better this year.

We only really have to contend with the Ravens and the Vikings as far as being REAL threats. The only way we lose more than 3 games is if Ben gets hurt (likely since we will never establish a run game), if Bruce Arians continues his inept playcalling, or if we become complacent.

I think 14-2 is a real possibility if we stay focused. However we always have one of theose fluke games that bites us in the butt, so I am going with 13-3.

WHAT 5 GAMES DO YOU HAVE US LOSING???????

It's difficult to know how tough a strength of schedule is until at least a few games into a season and you see how teams are playing. Teams go up and down every year.

To answer your question. The following teams could be potential losses:
Titans 9/10
@ Bears 9/20
Chargers 10/4
Vikings 10/25
@Ravens 11/29
Packers 12/20
@ Dolphins 1/3

My opinion is a 12-4 season.

I think 12-4 will happen IF Ben plays 14+ gms. Batch could win a few if necessary vs the likes of Cincy,Browns, Lions, Chiefs etc, but if he has to play 4+ gms, I think 10-6 is more likely. Don't think they'll go 6-0 in division again & they'll drop 1 or 2 vs a SD or Minny or Chicago. I would hate having to go to NE for a playoff gm, & you know they're gonna win 12+ gms.

Let me start by saying I don't want them to drop Thursday night. One game at a time, one game at a time. Wish Chicago was coming here.

I feel O-line problems and health put us more at a 11-5 - dropping one to Baltimore (hopefully not two - only takes a turnover). I wouldn't mind trading o-lines with Baltimore. they have some good young talent there. going to be a battle to hold them off by the end of the season.

I can see us going 11-5. Everyone is gunning for us this year, we have Bruce Arians calling plays.

Have you guys noticed the trend of O.C.'s getting fired this pre season? Gailey was a given, but now Tampa and Buffalo have done the same. Just thinking out loud, and hoping..........

Ravens or Packers at home.

Titans or Chargers at home.

In Baltimore.......

We always blow a couple games on the road to a bad team...... "Trap games." I think this season will be no exception. Chicago and Miami maybe.

I have the stillers going 12-4 with losses to: Chargers/Titans, @Ravens, Packers/Vikings, then 1 game we shouldn't lose (Miami or Denver)

We squeezed through some pretty tight games last season.

Airhead will blow a few for us, even though we look stronger on offense this year talentwise!!

Steelers 11-5
Rats 10-6
Bungholes 8-8
Clowns 6-10

If the Steelers lose 5 then the Ravens will be the AFC North Champs. The only way the Raven's lose 5 is if we sweep them again. Raven's must lose @ Chargers, @ Pats and @ Vikes and we have to sweep for them to lose 5. I see no other possible L's on their schedule.

As an aside, Can we trade Bruce Arians for Cam Cameron straight up?

From any of you douchebags, what games do you actually think we are going to lose this season? Unless Ben goes down to an injury, Steelers lose 3-4 at the most.

Bruce Arians has a lot of tricks up his sleeve... like tricking Coach Tomlin into thinking he has an offensive game plan.

On a side note, bring back Kordell and we can run the "CryCat" offense.

ravens will not succeed as well as last year. teams now have lots of tape on flacco to study.

Flacco wasn't even really that special last year, how old is their defense getting anyway?

I know Pittsburgh see's a lot of positive media coverage, but I believe for the most part, the media generally doesn't believe Big Ben is an effective passer, he is often labaled as a game manager, which simply isn't true.

They also claim most of his success is based on the fact he went to a team with a good defense and a great running game... Yet doesn't Flacco have all of that? Oh, he didn't put up very amazing numbers either. Overhyped.

That said, I actually believe the Bengals will contend for the second seed in the north. Not saying they'll make the playoffs. But Carson Palmer has had an entire year to rest from injury and 'used' to be one of the most accurate big armed qb's in the league. He makes the difference.

If our offense puts points on the board this year I think 13-3 or 14-2 is possible.
Since this will make our D better.

However, if we get into the number of close games like last year you never know what can happen and you can lose a few you don't expect. Then 10-6 or 11-5 is a possiblity.

If we stay reasonably healthy we should win the division with Balt a close second. Cincy will be close to 8-8 in my opionio. Mangini will let the Browns self destruct. I see them at 4-12.
