Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (Achilles') went through drills in pads and a helmet Tuesday, Aug. 25. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Roethlisberger is expected to be fine.

The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said QB Ben Roethlisberger (Achilles') will play without any limitations in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 29.

Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, also reported the Pittsburgh Steelers are not expected to sign another quarterback with QBs Ben Roethlisberger (Achilles') and Dennis Dixon (shoulder) ailing. Dixon did not practice Tuesday, Aug. 25, because of his separated shoulder.

I don't like it. I'd say let him participate in practice but sit him for next weekends game.
