Can we keep Stefan Logan on the roster
I like Logan's acceleration and his first decision with the ball. I am not sure if we have room for him. I bet he would be a good 3rd down back.
This post was made at the second half kickoff. Maybe he will return one later and make the roster spot an easy one.

He just had a great kick return...There is a spot on the roster for Stefan Logan somewhere. He's a playmaker

Re: Can we keep Stefan Logan on the roster
My apologies for wasting the time of everyone who clicked on this post. I haven't watched a steelers kick returner look that consistently dangerous in a game since Larry Anderson in SB XIV.
250+ return yds - if we don't keep him someone else will eat him up. Plus Burnett fumbled again.

If we don't keep him....the steeler f.o. have lost there minds. reminded me of sprowls and cribs rolled into one. starting from the 40 yard line is alot better than the 20

He knows where to go thats for sure.
Burnett is enigmatic so far. Great game against the redbirds, looked poor yesterday. Where was Redman?

He's definitely staying on the roster. The whole reason Colbert brought him on was for the kick return game. The guy showed the potential to break it wide open every time he touches the ball, much like Sproles for the Chargers.

I'd much rather have Carey Davis on the roster instead of Logan. In fact, lets have Carey Davis return kickoffs! What a great idea! Seriuosly, if they don't have Logan on the roster I'm going to shit myself. We have absolutely no need to keep Davis on this team. Let McHugh, Johnson, or Redman be a lead blocker in the I. I'd love to see Logan get some touches out of the back field as well. Man that guys got some wheels! I haven't been this excited about our return game since, since...........well ever!

Re: Can we keep Stefan Logan on the roster
I definitely see Logan making the squad. Return yardage goes a long way toward our field position game and he is a big upgrade from last year's bull dozers. It also gives us another weopan for a big play, and the way this group plays defense a couple big plays is all they need to win a game. Wallace is in that category too. We may go from the worst return team in the NFL to one of the best.
With Burnett fumble-prone, we may have another Reid on our hands. He needs to hope he is a good enough D-Back to make the squad. The pick in the 1st preseason game helps the cause, but we'll see.

Yeah, i'm kind of "slow" like that.
Now that i think about it, why the hell was Carey Davis returning kicks at all?

Re: Can we keep Stefan Logan on the roster
In this offense, even when ALL the 5 plays are working, you need a back who can at least give the linebackers a pause to think, "Gee, maybe the Stillers 'll fool us from THIS here run formation and pass in the flat to that there halfback right back there all by hisself. We KNOW they'll never do it from their other run formation."
Davis? Puh-lease! Let him and Arians go off and do the 1-back crap somewhere else.
FWP, Mendy, Moore, Summers and Redman. Logan as return man and Burnett to PS. Good ballhawk but so is DeShea as nickel. Keep DeS for this year (his experience is invaluable) and let Burnett develop, get over fumblitis. Next year DeShea and Burnett fight for the spot. If Townsend doesn't cut it, make him a coach.

It's gonna be close...I really hope he does though. With Sepulveda coming back, if we were to have a solid kickoff returner, you would be looking at a Pittsburgh Steelers team with dominant special teams. Imagine, a solid offense with our dominant defense and special teams that dominate the field position game= SUPER BOWL #7

Super Bowl? Sounds more like the Super Bowl loser Chicago Bears in 2006.
Why can't we just cut this blown project to make room for Logan? http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v508/ ... tingOL.flv
Might as well just keep 5 OLmen on the roster. No point in having anymore shitty players on our roster
