Preseason game 2 questions
Took the last weekend of summer trip and missed the game.
Fill me in, who looked good and who didn't?
Who made the team based on their play, and who blew their chance?
Doug Legursky was suppose to start at guard replacing OG Chris Kemoeatu; How did he look?
What about Batch & Dixon?

Re: Preseason game # questions
Redman barely played, started Batch (he didn't do so hot), then Dixon (he did pretty good)....ha...then we put Reilly in for QB and he stunk up the place. Legursky did good. Burnette.....not sure really ....ok..he kept noticeable tackling high. Logan...I'm sure you saw on other posts ...had a lot of yards in return. Ziggy , a couple of good things, parker played for a little bit and ran in for our first touchdown. I don't know , overall, the young ones didn't do as well as I had hoped with all the talk about them. Ben being gone definately hurt us....I remember Batch being better before he got hurt. Oh and Mendenhall did ok....but still nothing too exciting. Sweed came in though and made a great catch later in the game.......He hasn't proved me to have any trouble yet..Hope to see him more.

Re: Preseason game # questions
Stefan Logan looked amazing. Sure-handed on punts and has instant breakout speed.
Mike Wallace impressed again. Has great instincts and does not play like a rookie.
Mendenhall had a few nice runs, albeit against the Skins 2nd team defense
Sweed dropped an easy one, but then went down for two nice catches.
Ziggy Hood is the real deal.
Joe Burnett got burned in the end zone, but the guy he was covering was 6' 5"
Ratliff had a real nice pick of a Todd Collins pass when he jumped an in-route.
O-line still looked shaky against Alby and the bunch.

I was at Fedex last night and I'm just going to list some of the stuff I wanted to point out:
-If you travel to a game in DC, never park in the 'gray lot' when its raining. There must have been 60+ cars (including ours) who got their tires stuck in quicksand-like mud
-Charlie Batch is absolute garbage
-Stefan Logan is the real deal as a returner. Wallace needs to stay in the rotation with Logan on kick returns
-Burnett needs to be taken off of punt return duties. A muff and a fumble in 2 games=no bueno
-Ziggy Hood is impressive. The 2nd-3rd team Skins were doubling him all night
-The Steelers offense is still pretty ugly. Starks is dreadful.
-Keenan Lewis looked pretty good
