Finally!!!

Postby NOVAStiller » Fri Aug 21, 2009 2:04 am

Stefan Logan to return punts and kickoffs Saturday against the Redskins... his big chance - A lot of us are anxious to see this guy. Hope he does well!

Quick hits

Tomlin refused to rule anyone out of tomorrow night's game against the Redskins, although it's a given that guard Darnell Stapleton will not play after having surgery on his knee two weeks ago. ... Stefan Logan will get his first chance to return punts and kickoffs, Tomlin said.

Here's to hoping we can finally find someone with speed who can also hold on to the ball in the return game. Wallace looks very promising, hopefully Logan looks as good if not better. What a huge upgrade this would be for a team that just won the Super Bowl with below average return men.

I never thought I would be so excited to see us punt. We will finally make the field longer for opposing offenses! :sushootem:

it depends on how well we defend the punt return.

last year, it looked like we were doing a better job of it, but perhaps that was due to the shorter punts. longer punts give the other team more time to set up their blocking, right?
