Had to kick off the season right ith some buds at the bar, but once the 1st string was done, so was I.

Back on the board by kick for 2nd half.

What do you think so far?

Sure doesn't have the sparks of the Super Bowl between these two teams.

Dixon comes out to start the 2nd half, and converts a 1st down.
Just about when I'm gonna type something good about the guy, he under throws 1 to the EZ which about gets picked.

On that same out play that Sweed dropped the pass, he ran a really poor route, his cut on the out route was not sharp at all.

And that wasn't Reed who missed the field goal, it was some other guy

Kid is definately flying around. Got to like the effort.


Frank the Tank's job could be in trouble. Redman looks like a solid Big Man.

Redman does look quite studly...
...but how about Wallace and Burnett? I was real impressed with Wallace's composure running routes over the middle, and Burnett made a nice pick that almost went for 6. Sweed's route running still sucks. Needs to be ready for the ball coming out of the break on his out routes. I like McDonald's hands and quickness as well.

Oh yeah he definitely made a few nice catches (the underthrown deep ball in particular). No doubt he has the potential

Hasn't been great, but hasn't been as bad as I expected either.

I thought the first unit looked like their typical selves, not really good but good enough to get by

I sure hope he establishes more consistency, i still believe he has alot of upside.





On another note, i'm really not that impressed with Mendenhall, and I like what i'm seeing from Wallace, just the small glimpses.
