Nice to see it's only a couple of weeks. We can use all of the depth we have for competition reasons.

I alway worry when someone has been having pain and swelling that leads to exploratory surgery. Even more so when they come back and haven't found anything. It had to be something! So now I worry that they give him a couple weeks off to get over the surgery and as soon as we get him back he's out again for pain and swelling. Worse yet because we expect him back soon they won't be making bigger plans to properly fix the hole left if this lingers on all season. At least if they found something then they could have fixed it and they would make appropriate plans to fill the void.

Ed Bouchette, of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers OL Darnell Stapleton (knee) had loose cartilage removed and some bone scraped during arthroscopic knee surgery Friday, Aug. 7. The team does not currently plan to put him on Injured Reserve.

Cool thanks hammer....makes me feel much better to know that they actually found and fixed something. First time I read the story this week they made it sound as if they couldn't find anything wrong in there.
