The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley (knee) did not participate in practice Saturday, Aug. 8. He expects to return to practice Sunday, Aug. 9.


Also, RB Willie Parker (back) did not participate in practice Saturday, Aug. 8, because of back spasms. The team does not believe the injury is serious.

Ed Bouchette, of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Willie Parker (back spasms) was held out of both practices Saturday, Aug. 8. As reported, he is dealing with back spasms, but the team does not believe them to be serious.

Miller said he was a little rusty, but his health felt good. As long as he does not suffer any setbacks, he should be available to play in the team's first preseason game.
