Seems like a sworn affidavit from one of the old co-workers of Big Ben's accuser OBLITERATES her story. The accuser apparently bragged about the consensual sex and even wanted a "little Roethlisberger" as a souvenir of their tryst.

However, it really would be nice if athlete's today didn't go around acting like they are all in a FRAT HOUSE! Damnit.

Big Ben has held himself up and I have heard him being praised (on this board) for his Christian lifestyle. Banging some hotel worker sounds a lot more like KOBE BRYANT than someone who should be held up as a Christian example.

I am glad this seems to be more of a moral issue than a legal one, but it still upsets me to see hypocrites in the faith!

I get really tired of hearing people spout off about Christians who sin being "hypocrites".

In no way do I condone Big Ben's dalliances (IF there is any truth to the story).....

BUT being Christian means first admitting one's sinful nature. The act of sinning is no more hypocritical for a Christian than praying or going to church.

Hypocrisy may or may not follow depending on how a Christian RESPONDS to being caught in his sin.

BTW, in God's eyes all sin is deplorable, but for me consentual pre-marital sex (AGAIN - ****IF**** that is what happened) is nowhere near Kobe Bryant territory. Last I checked adultery was one of the ten big no-nos.

Yeah, I guess I should have started by saying, "if this is true."

However, fact of the matter is that Big Ben was alone in a hotel room with a female hotel employee- thus the Kobe Bryant reference. He was in fact chasing tail if nothing else. That is my disappointment. There are a plethera of reasons he should have been smarter than that.
