Scott Brown, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers LB Lawrence Timmons (cramps) participated in morning practice Monday, Aug. 3.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Mewelde Moore could have a role in the team's rushing attack even if RBs Willie Parker and Rashard Mendenhall stay healthy this season. "If we didn't have Mewelde last season,we wouldn't have been in the Super Bowl," offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said

Scott Brown, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Willie Parker has embraced the idea of sharing the load at running back. Parker said, "It's a long season, (and) most NFL teams are merging into a two-back system, so I think it would be great for me not to get as many carries as I got two years ago."

Sounds like RB by committee.
