Draft becomes a three day event

The NFL on Thursday announced changes to its draft schedule, moving the first round to the evening of Thursday, April 22; the second and third rounds to the evening of Friday, April 23 and the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh rounds to the morning of Saturday, April 24.
