Ziggy Hood only rookie left to sign
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Monday, June 29, that they have signed third-round draft pick OG Kraig Urbik to a three-year contract.
All before July. Nice work by front office.

i can't wait to see last year's draft class make an impact this year and how much the rookies can compete for those open spots. this training camp should provide plenty of competition on both sides of the ball. less than a month...

Agreed. Let's get this party started! I just see a different mindset from these guys as they head in to start the defense of their crown. All I've seen and read, signs look good for no let-down. The guys down in Fla. with Shaw (wouldn't ya love to see Hampton down there?) all have an attitude and a memory of what happened the last time they tried to defend.
Mike Tomlin sits in the drivers seat to make his history of 2-in-a-row, the schedule is a little softer, guys appear healthy and ready. I love this draft and last year's 1,2, & 3 should see progress.
Let's rock!

This off season is so different than 2006. This team is younger and hungrier, and Big Ben is healthy. Also, we have a coach that wants a dynasty and doesn't have one foot in retirement. Here's to a repeat!!
