BTW:

Townsend is probably not going to play THURSDAY due to a groin injury. McFadden will replace him.

Linebacker Mike Humpal (stinger), safety Troy Polamalu (hamstring) and safety Ryan Mundy (ankle) did not practice and will not play against Buffalo.


Punters Paul Ernster and Mitch Berger will share playing time.
