Prayers for Harrison's son
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports James Harrison III, son of Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison, was taken to the hospital Thursday, May 21, after being attacked by the family's pit bull, according to Harrison's agent. The child was bit in the thigh but is expected to be fine.

The Associated Press reports the agent for Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison, William Parise, said the player's son, James Harrison III, is doing fine in a Pittsburgh hospital three days after being attacked by a pit bull. Parise added the family is hopeful Harrison's son will be released from hospital Monday, May 25.

I think you have to expect problems of this nature when you own a pit bull.
It comes with the territory.
I do feel badly for the kid, though.

Lillian Thomas, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison is seeking a way to avoid putting down his pit bull, Patron, now that Harrison's son has been released from hospital. Harrison said he would have put the dog down after a 10-day quarantine. A number of people responded to the planned euthanization by saying there were organizations that might take the dog.
