wgas? they (foote/lions) both did us a favor by helping us get him off our roster. our team is better off without him and his $2.8m against our cap.

The Detroit Lions have announced they have officially signed unrestricted free-agent LB Larry Foote (Steelers) to a one-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed; however, the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said LB Larry Foote has not been guaranteed the starting middle linebacker job. (Wouldn't it be ironic if he ended up a back up on the worst team in football, making less money?)

The Associated Press reports the Arizona Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs expressed interest in LB Larry Foote before he decided to sign with the Detroit Lions.

Let me get this straight: SlowaFoote was due to make $2.8M+ w/ the champs for the next yr but opted to sign the same 1 yr deal, for possibly le$$, & play on possibly the worst team in NFL history? But hey, he can play in his hometown, which looks like a warzone due to shuttered stores & automaker demise. What a dumb shi.....
