Troy working out in Cali.

Kevin Gorman, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu will not participate in the majority of the team's offseason program because he has been training in California with the blessing on head coach Mike Tomlin.

indeed
it seems like the decline in his play in previous years was due to NOT working out with his trainer for years but instead working out with the team.
when he went back to his old-school ways training in CA, his performance went back to what we are used to and came to love about the guy.
if it were up to me, he would never again go through the offseason with the team and stick with what he knows and what obviously works for him.
